What a neat toy. My teenage son lived through the finger boarding era of the aughts, and still kind of fw it. When this popped up from an iconic brand like Tech deck, and for a really good price, I knew I had to jump on it for him. I’m not sure how much use it gotten, but it is a very cool looking thing, celebrating skateboarding brands that have fallen by the wayside over the years. I have been a huge handboard fan since i bought my first one pre-2004. I loved skateboarding and this was a perfect way to play with a board but in a more controlled way. Fingerboards are great but handboard was for those who were serious about tricks. So i compared these new ones to older ones in my collection. The grip tape on the new one is similar to the newer runs of the older boards. They have a new do not ride logo on the grip. The wheels are drastically different, they are more "real" aka they are rubberish not plasticish. The board concave is different and the board sits a little higher off the ground. Biggest pain is the new boards do not come with a tool to fit the nuts and bolts. Huge oversight. The truck bolt will come loose. Overall the boards are perfect. At $15 they are much more affordable. Hopefully they bring back the old picnic tables and ramps like they used to make. ... show more
