For my purposes, this is a full five stars. I have a memory foam mattress, and I sleep hot. Due to my noctural thermal, memory foam isn't pleasant as it throws the heat right back to me. The issue: Memory foam is comfortable so I fall asleep, then heat up, and feel like I'm going to die..... I was very concerned when I first felt this topper. There seemed to be no real density to the fill and I thought sure I'd sink right through and still be sleeping on my rock hard mattress. I was pleasantly surprised. It's only been a week, so I will update if things change, but so far I'm impressed. The mattress that has been tormenting me for years (to the extent that I often slept on the couch) is actually comfortable. I don't wake up several times a night trying to reposition myself/adjust pillows at my knees. I sleep through the night and don't wake up sore in the morning. I'm a larger person (around 200 pounds), so if the pad leaves me feeling supported, I'm sure it would be even better for someone of slighter build. ... show more
