It's the perfect length and width, the band is wide and holds it perfectly in place, but the clincher is being able to remove stuffing from the pillow insert so you can customize it to your preference. I had shoulder surgery and had to buy a recliner to sleep in. The pillow I had from my bed wouldn’t stay on the recliner and it was too bulky. This worked perfect to sleep on!

I’ve had it less than a week and the adhesive has come off twice. On the upside, the pillow can be emptied of the foam stuffing so you can adjust the thickness so it is comfortable, but it just won’t stay in place. Edit: Had problems with the adhesive holding to the back of my chair, so instead of having to find an alternative to this pillow (which is super comfortable, but the adhesive won't hold), the company gave me a full refund and said I could keep the pillow since I loved it so much. On another note, I figured out a way to counter weight the pillow so it'll stay on my chair since the adhesive doesn't hold it in place, so I simply place 2 D-cell batteries in the back pocket and it holds it in place!

I had hoped this pillow would provide some neck/head support while I’m sitting on my leather loveseat. But it slid at least a foot away from me every time I used it. The Velcro attachment on the back piece is only made to work on fabric so it won’t hold anything in place. Since I don’t want to move from my loveseat, I’ll have to send your pillow back.
