Very sturdy wheels on all 3 suitcases, really durable light weight material that was used to make these suitcases. Corner bumper pads on all the corners of the outside of each suitcase. Only the smallest one doesn’t have the 2 corners covered due to the lines in the design. They are the most beautiful turquoise color that I’ve ever seen. We used the large suitcase for maybe four different trips. After our most recent trip, the button broke, and we can’t raise or lower the handle. When I inspected what happened as you can see in the photos, the arm off of the button snapped and so it cannot reach the bars to raise or lower the handle. When I emailed the seller they offered a partial refund to help resolve things which was adequate given it only happened to one of the three luggage pieces. ... show more

*This is edited: The Cool Life company was very prompt in helping to correct the situation. They offered me a partial refund, as it was one bag in a set of three, or for a replacement bag to be sent.* I purchased this suitcase last summer during Prime Day with the intention of using it this summer. I was so excited about it, because it is my favorite color! The telescoping handle broke after my first use... it was incredibly disappointing, and because I purchased it last year, the warranty has of course expired. I only used the carry on size for this trip, but don't have high hopes for the handles on the other bags at this point. ... show more

I bought two identical luggage sets for my family - Coolife and Amazon Basics. Out of the box, the Coolife set seems to be more durable and sturdy. They both roll and spin well. An advantage of the Coolife set is the TSA locking mechanism that secures the zipper. Also, the Coolife set is about $50 less expensive than the Amazon Basics set right now.     • Stood up to a BIG test!

I wasn’t sure what to expect given the good price! I bought this set for hubby in 2021, and have had mine since 2019. We travel A LOT! Most recently we spent 40 days all over Europe and dragged the medium size suitcase, packed to the gills, on trains, planes and automobiles, and up and down some crazy cobbled mosaic and stone streets in Portugal and other countries. The wheels held up, the shell held, the guts held. They’re in great shape after suffering abuse for nearly all 40 days as we moved place to place. Having little expectations, I find myself completely impressed with this classy, hardy 3 piece Cool Life luggage set. Less expensive than my Hanke OR my Samsonite - it has endured international travel BETTER than those other two. Still love my Hanke. Samsonite snapped a frame leg already.
