The perfect size! Holds a lot but is still compact. I also purchased the size just above this one (that will hold 36 cans) and I love them both. Quality is great, leak proof, and keeps my food cold. Ice does melt in the backpack but I've never had issues with it leaking, even when carrying on hikes. Good sturdy used often for hikes and trips to amusement parks or long drives to the casino. I would either put ice or ice packs kept everything cold if not opened often it would stay cold longer perhaps about 24 hrs or little more .... had room to keep utensils, napkins, small emergency kit, Started leaking recently really disappointed although I guess it at least lasted a year I can say.... I'll probably use ice packs better in the future if you stay at a hotel you can re freeze them and put them back in for the next road trip with no leak problem.

My son uses this cooler back pack as a lunch box most of the time. It also serves as a carryon bag with enough clothes and necessities for a four day weekend trip. The only problem we found is the mesh pockets rip. This is the second purchase to do that. We use freezer packs not ice so leakage never happens. We take this backpack to the beach here in Florida. This cooler does well under the beach umbrella in keeping sandwiches made with mayonnaise cold and fresh tasting even after 3 hours . The high heat this year in Florida lasted over 7 months. This backpack goes on bus rides as well as electric bike rides. Very versatile and worth much more than it's reasonable cost. Many times they do sell out and are back in stock quickly. Highly Recommend This Product.
