I have a spiderweb crack in my windscreen, a little bigger than a quarter. It takes a lot of resin and a little extra time, but if you follow the instructions it absolutely fills all the cracks and so far it's been in the car wash. You can't even see it anymore. Super easy, cheap solution.

I was sceptical about this or any windscreen repair product but was amazed when this completely removed the angel wing chip in my wife's windscreen. I may post after pics but you won't see anything because the repair is undetectable. I regret not taking before photos or making a video, but I really didn't think it would work as well as it did. Some tips: fix it as soon as possible and make sure there is no dirt or water in the cracks. 2. Turn on the windscreen defroster and set it to the right temperature, especially if it's cold outside. This will help dilute the resin and help it flow all the way down into the crack.3. Direct the glass repair solution to the point of impact. This is very important. Double check this in the car.4. Be sure to use plenty of resin.5. Use a matching uv unit connected to a power supply to use for light drying and you can clean it up. Add more if needed.6. I didn't shave off the extra 90° angle as they recommended. I used more of a 45° angle and a slicing type motion. This left me with a perfectly smooth repair! After you've completed all the steps, there may still be a small blemish, especially at the point of impact, or you may have accidentally scraped some of the resin off the repair. No problem, just put a drop or two on the area and then place a clear curing strip on top and repeat to complete the steps. This is what I had to do. A few last things. Before you start, make sure the area is very tribal. I hope this helps because this product is really great.

Quickly fix the chip to prevent a long crack! I'm debating whether to fix it or let it go or replace the windscreen? I started with a chip and a 6‘ crack, just within a week the crack grew to about 20’ long from the right side towards the bottom middle. This tool allowed me to repair the chip and the 20’ crack. I cut the plastic sheet in half lengths and since the crack is not super jagged the 1’ strip covers the resin very well. I ran it under a UV unit light for 10 minutes and then cleaned it up and noticed that you could still see the cracks in some places. So I redid the steps and used the remaining resin if someone pushes on the crack in the car to get the resin in it may get into the crack but I also found that if you push on the crack at the end it will crack more. After everything was done I could barely see the crack unless the sun was shining right on it and you could see the crack. It didn't spread any further so the $10+ effort and cost was worth it as the internet says new windscreens cost between $400 and $1,000 depending on where you get it from or if it's brand new or supplied by the car manufacturer. My windscreen will last until another crack/chip breaks it again.
