    • Clean cut
I ordered these accidentally but I'm not even mad at it. I trim my own hair at home and thought I was buying regular shears. I usually make the straight cut and then cut upwards to remove the blunt edges. The problem with that while cutting your own hair is that if the scissors are too sharp, you risk cutting uneven strands, chunks or end up making the ends too thin. I used my regular shears to trim the ends and then these scissors right at the edge, meaning, if you hold the scissors horizontally, the scissors start right at the end of the cut... then one more time above the cut that I just made. Probably 1/8 of an inch each, making it 1/4 inch total. I have pretty thin hair so I wouldn't thin my ends out more than that. Fast, easy clean cut. I washed and dried the scissors after using and so far haven't had any problems with rust. They have a good weight to them and sit nicely on ur fingers too as the weight is evenly distributed.     • Surprisingly simple to thin hair....
My husband is going bald on top...but he has a bulky curly hair in the back...and when he gets a haircut they cut all his curls off! So I simply thin it out and trim the back and the cut looks good!

I wish I bought these a long time ago. I tend to cut my own bangs, but this really helps lighten up my fairly short hair when it gets longer, it gets heavy, losing bounce… gives it a ‘piece’ and thinned out kind of look between professional haircuts.
