These skates have worked and held up excellently. We did have a wheel fall off, and unfortunately lost the axle components, BUT, they ship with spare parts and we were able to repair it perfectly. I would suggest every month of use or so, just check that the axle screws are tight. The screws do have Loctite on them, but check them anyway....and make sure you keep track of where you keep the spare parts. The wheels have held up really well and are used primarily on asphalt. The skates were purchased for my 6 year old daughter. I highly recommend these skates. ... show more

My daughter 4 and is a little kids shoe size 8.5. I bought the size medium. They are a little big but that’s ok. I’d probably have gotten the smaller size and adjusted it to larger. I’m really really impressed and happy with the quality for the price. It even came With extra pieces that a roller skating rink (or someone in the know) could use to replace or update things The Velcro is a little thin. So I don’t see that small aspect holding on for years upon, pass down years but the laces are good and the wheels are great. NOT plasticy. As a person who personally owns and invests with high end K2 and Rollar Blade brand skates. I’m very pleased with these for my daughter. Now to find the little boy equivalent for my 3 year old who is losing his mind not to have a pair too haha ... show more
