The toner ran out on my HP Laserjet and I didn't want to purchase the HP toner for over $100. I looked over a bunch of different options and this one seemed to be the best offer. I read the reviews and was a little worried about having to remove the chip and install it on the new toner. However, once I got the toner, I watched the YouTube video and was able to swap the chip pretty easily. The toner worked immediately after and the print quality is just as good as the HP brand. I've been using this brand of toner for more than a year, and am constantly astounded by the quality it yields. Unlike other non-OEM manufacturers, these cartridges are reliable and produce crisp, legible results. Often, with other manufacturers' products, it's a guessing game as to whether the cartridge will leak or result in smudged or sub-par print outs, but I've never had an issue like that with these cartridges, nor have I had to contact the manufacturer for support. The included tools for transferring the pesky HP chips are very good quality, and eliminate the need to dig through my tool drawer to find appropriate pliers and/or spudgers to pry the chip out of the old cartridge, particularly if it's an OEM cartridge, which usually has some sort of adhesive on the back of the chip. For the manufacturer to include such detailed instructions and quality tools with each purchase is an amazing bargain! I highly recommend this product, both for convenience AND affordability! ... show more

You need to have a special computer chip to be able to use this. I thought I would remove the chip from my current cartridge of a different brand, but that did not end up working. The space for the chip was way too big for the chip I had from an HP product. Not sure where you buy a chip, but I wish I could have! ... show more

    • Great Quality with a Little bit of surgery
The print quality is just a good as the OEM product. But be aware you will need to remove the chip in the OEM product and place in the cartridge before you can use it. It is a little bit like the game operation. The nice thing is that the tools you need to make remove and install the chip come with these cartridges. I was a little intimidated that I would break the chip or damage it, however it worked our just fine. Overall recommend as it is great quality for the printing. ... show more

The tools were supplied to make this process possible. Just make sure the chip is inserted onto the new printer cartridge all the way. Also pay attention to how you removed the old cartridge from the printer. I used the old cartridge to help me figure out how to install the new cartridge in its place.
