  • So handy
Color: Assorted Style: Pack of 10
I really enjoy the functionality of these cloths. I can wring it almost dry with one hand. I have used one color for my trailer and other for my kitchen. Yes they can be cut and do wear out, but with a pack I can put out a fresh one every couple of days. I just throw them into the washer either other towels and pull them out to dry on the counter. They never go back to the same flat square, but they continue to work wet or dry to mop up spills, and dampened to wiped down counters , wash window and wash dishes. I bought some for my kids. I especially appreciate how quickly the dry, much better than sponges or older dish cloths ... show more

  • An Eco-Friendly and Practical Kitchen Essential
I started using the Homaxy Swedish Dishcloths just short of a year ago and am absolutely in love with them! These cloths have completely replaced the dishclothes in my kitchen, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Whether wiping down countertops, cleaning up spills, or doing dishes, they soak up moisture quickly without leaving a mess behind. They hold a surprising amount of liquid for their size, which means I can clean large areas with just one cloth. These dishcloths don’t hold onto odors like traditional sponges or dish towels do. Even after using them for multiple days, they remain fresh and smell-free. I believe this is because of the natural cellulose material they are made from, which prevents bacteria build-up. Also, they dry very quickly which I think helps to deter odors and contaminations. These dishcloths are made from durable, high-quality cellulose, and after using them for almost a year, they’re still in great shape. They are machine washable, which is a huge plus. Simply toss them in the wash and they’re as good as new, making them an eco-friendly, sustainable choice for my kitchen. I love that the pack comes with six different vibrant colors. Not only do they look great in my kitchen, but it also helps to easily distinguish between them for different tasks (one for dishes, another for counters, etc.). The colors are bright and cheerful, adding a fun touch to my cleaning routine. As someone who is always trying to reduce waste, I really appreciate that these cloths are reusable and compostable. They’ve significantly reduced my need for paper towels, which is better for the environment and my wallet. ... show more

  • Awesome dishcloths
Color: Assorted Style: Pack of 10
These reusable dish cloths work wonderfully. I’ve used just two so far, and I purchased them over 2 years ago. Just toss them in the washing machine to clean, and either air dry or toss in the dryer. They are very absorbent, wring them out, and they dry very quickly. No odors whatsoever.

  • A Household Must Have
Color: Assorted Style: Pack of 10
How did I keep house before these dish cloths were invented? They wash beautifully, air dry quickly, are durable, and are gentle on easily scratched surfaces. A pack of 10 lasts a long time, making them a good value.

  • Great cloth with great quality.
Color: Assorted Style: Pack of 10
Love these. Quality is great that you can machine wash them over and over again.

  • My favorite version of Swedish cloths
Color: Assorted Style: Pack of 10
Good size, great quality. These wash well in a laundry bag, just don't dry them. They are durable enough for heavy cleaning, soft enough for use as a washcloth, especially helpful when applying medicated soap. I tried another cheaper brand and won't make that mistake again.

  • Not as AMAZING as a lot of reviews make them seem
Color: Assorted Style: Pack of 10
BASIC REVIEW (Other potentially helpful info will be added below): These are basically like very thin, but very dense sponges. They don't have any tiny holes in them like most sponges do. When wet, they're malleable and handle much like cloth... but they can be folded compact and will handle more like a thin sponge. When fully dry, they're stiff like old worn cardboard. The cloths are very absorbent. Their actual scrubbing ability is equal to or slightly better than a high quality sponge. (I don't mean the scrubby side of some sponges, but the actual sponge itself.) One cloth can clean much larger spills and collect a lot more dust/dirt in a single swipe than a full papertowel sheet due to its high absorbency, thickness, and density combined with its textured surface. (It's only "textured" due to the way the surfaces are cut/formed, but the entire material on both sides of the cloth is very soft and smooth.) There are situations where a paper towel would either work better or be more appropriate. This isn't going to eliminate paper towels from your life completely. It can significantly cut down on your papertowel usage and thereby help save money... But it all depends on how often you use papertowels and what you use them for. It may not make much of a difference in your paper towel usage at all. In my household, we anticipate that a single pack of 10 of these cloths would maybe last us 8-9 mos for normal home maintenance/cleaning (no special or tedious clean up jobs). And that's only because we would be using them in addition to other cloths/sponges. We found some good uses for these cloths, but they're nothing spectacular or game changing for us. They have limited situations where they're truly handy (i.e., they're the most practical item to use out of our arsenal of cleaning items). They'll probably limit our already semi-limited papertowel usage by maybe 25%. We'll save a bit of money if these things hold up for at least 9 mos. We won't save a ton, but it's still nice to not be wasteful with both products and money. Overall, we decided that we prefer other cleaning items (i.e., rags, cloths, sponges) than these Swedish dish cloths for most basic home cleaning tasks. I docked 2 stars because this product was kind of disappointing given all the advertising hype about it. Also, we tried another brand's Swedish dish cloths that seemed to have a little more "scrubbing power" and durability to them. (Do not expect this to scrub like a scrubbing pad, wash cloth, or even a high quality rough papertowel would. These cloths are very soft when damp/wet. It is "textured" differently on each side of the cloth to improve its ability to "collect" dust/dirt/very tiny debris and perhaps to help loosen any grime that is already fairly weak. But there is no actual "scratchy/gritty" type of texture on these things - unless you try to use them dry. If used bone-dry to try to scrub something that's pretty stuck to a surface, the cloth will wear down very fast. If used when its almost dry, but still has a teeny bit of moisture lingering, it seems to be able to lightly scrub some slightly stubborn spots. Still, it seems to wear down quickly when used dry.) ADDITIONAL INFO: We tried using these for dishes, but we prefer a certain type of sponge for the job. It will work well to wash dishes that don't need any sort of scrubbing - like a drinking cup that doesn't have any juice really dried into crevices or a bowl that was just used for soup. Even so, a regular dish sponge or dish rag is superior. And these don't do much to remove food fried onto a pan. These are not very good for cleaning windows, except maybe to get a bunch of pollen/dirt off before going back over it with a papertowel or other non-streaking cloth. A new cloth worked well to clean our bathroom mirrors the first time. But after that, it left streaks. Something I noticed about durability: I tried to use one of these cloths to wipe down some melamine laminated shelves we just bought. Overall, it wiped all the dust off great. But it could not handle removing the sticky residue left over by the price stickers... even when I spritzed the spot with a water and alcohol mixture. It just kept spreading the residue around until that part of the cloth began to look worn. I used a tiny piece of papertowel and the residue came of quickly. I tried using another brand of Swedish dish cloths and it worked a lot better with no signs of wear; though it didn't remove everything. I ended up using the papertowel. We found these cloths are EXCELLENT for soaking up spills and for wiping up water splashes around sinks. So, we decided to keep one by each sink. They're also good for cleaning light switches, door knobs, handles, cabinets, window sills, baseboards, plastic items, and anything with a smooth water-proof/water-resistant surface that just needs a quick or decent wipe down (no real scrubbing). We liked the various colors because it helps us to be able to devote certain cloths for "dirtier" jobs vs "cleaner" jobs. (Example: We don't want to use the same cloth we use to wipe down our toilets on our kitchen counters.) The cloths can be washed and reused, which is nice. Some dark stains will remain on the cloth even after washing. It depends on what caused the stain. We tried tossing one cloth in the top rack of our dishwasher and it came out fine. It just needed to be wrung out, then set up to dry. But we decided it's best to wash most of the cloths by hand considering how we use them. The cloths have different textures on each side. Compared to another brand of Swedish dish cloths, the textures on these ones aren't as prominent. We find the ribbed side of the cloth is best for swiping up dust/dirt/tiny debris. The diamond patterned side doesn't really do much. But these things are a bit hard to wash tiny bits of dog fur off. We found it helps to try to rinse most of the particles off, let it soak (some of the fur will float to the water surface), then wash & dry. If there's any fur still left, most can be slapped or picked off by hand. Drying these things is not too bad. You definitely don't want to let it dry all crumpled up if you want to be able to neatly store it somewhere. It hardens in the shape it dries, and it seems to become fragile in spots where it dried at a sharp angle. Some cloths we drape across our faucet or shower handle bars to dry in a curved shape. This doesn't seem to make them fragile (as opposed to drying in a more angular shape). We don't mind the dried shape since we use these cloths daily to soak up water around sinks or to "dry off" moisture in our bathrooms. I placed the other cloths on a wire rack shelf in my laundry room to dry flat after use. It worked fine. Overall, I think Swedish dish cloths can be handy. But they're not as great as all the hype seems to make them out to be. It seems they're made for fairly light jobs. Otherwise, a plain, cheap, thin wash cloth can do a better job at cleaning and scrubbing - while still being reusable. I would recommend giving them a try if you're interested, but maybe compare this one to other brands and make sure you get the size you want. (These felt a little small for some of our tasks.) I think this particular product would be great for parents of very young children. They would be cheap and convenient to sanitize toys, wipe down high chair tops, and quickly soak up accidental spills. If the price of the cloths is a factor, then these should work fine for these kinds of very simple and frequent tasks. Oh, and we haven't had issues with color transfer except when we attempted to use the cloth to remove the sticker residue from the shelf. This was before trying the water & alcohol solution. The color only transfered onto the sticker residue and did not stain our brand new white shelves. ... show more
