These fulfilled exactly the purpose that I had hoped for--a set of mixed size bowls with lids. Few notes--I agree with others who would say these aren't heavyweight plastic. Overall, they are lightweight, but have enough durability to withstand all the uses I have for them. Their lightness makes them essentially shatterproof from dropping, which I can't say for a heavier weight set of plastic mixing bowls I used to have. The lids aren't a leak proof fit, so you wouldn't want to turn them on their side while filled, but they fit snugly enough. These mixing bowls are way more than I expected. From the biggest bowl to the teeny tiny one. My only complaint is the bigger the bowl, the less of a seal it has. At least for my set, the biggest and second biggest bowl has very little seal, it comes out on its own. Also, one of my lids came a bit melted(?) somehow it doesn’t affect the seal but it’s weird. ... show more

I purchased these bowls for our RV as we are always trying to save space. Received them and removed them from the box. Nice colors. Only issue is the first time I removed a lid from one of them the small tab fell off. Not a huge deal as you can still remove the lid without issue, but they were brand new. I was so excited to get these bowls. They ended up coming a couple of days later than expected which isn't a huge deal. The reason for the 4 stars is when I opened the box up they were covered in black stuff that looked like mold and were covered in dirt. The biggest bowl out of the stack has scratches on the inside of the bottom like someone has used a hand mixer in it. I was going to reach out to the seller, but unfortunately my daughter washed them before I got a chance to take pictures. The black stuff did come off, but I'm pretty confident these were used and returned by someone before I got them. Despite all of this I still like bowls. The lids fit, they are super cute and light, and the colors fit my decor in my kitchen perfectly. As for durability I'm not sure how long they will last, but I'm hoping they will last for awhile. I LOVE this bowl set! It is so pretty and it comes with SOO many sizes! I live in a dorm with three other people, so having ways to store my food that doesn’t take up a whole lot of space is so nice! They store easily and fit in the fridge perfectly!

The colors I selected are true to the photos provided by the seller. Very pretty! Super easy to clean. I have been using them as mixing bowls but also as Tupperware as I just moved and I don't have many kitchen supplies yet- and storing things like pasta sauce, chili or curry did leave a light stain on them. Only one stain (chili) is still vaguely there after thorough cleaning It's really no big deal, as we all know certain things stain plastic all the time. My reason for 4 stars, are due to the covers. All but 1 are not tight enough, so they don't properly close or seal, and 1 (the smallest one) is way too tight and was a struggle to take off.
