Installed this Airdog lift pump on my 05 duramax, bolted up perfect, its out of the way, out of site, and the kit included everything you need. The fuel pump body is one piece billut, awesome kit. My only suggestion to airdog: if they would not install the electrical ends from factory and just include them in the kit for field install. They give you plenty of wire, I cut off the extra wire instead of bunching it all up in a zip tie. I had to purchase new wire ends. Also get a good fuel line removal tool, the 13$ one not the 5$ one,makes the job much easier. Runs smoother. ... show more

Installed it on my LMM, install was fairly straight forward, included instructions weren’t the best. I watch a video on YouTube from truck masters and it was honestly a step by step and showed exactly what to take off and went fairly simple, took about 2 hour install time including getting the old fuel line off. Overall works great so car and restored some power from draining the rails ... show more

    • Lift Pump works. Easy install
I purchased this lift pump to extend the life of my Duramax injectors and CP3 pump. After installing I noticed the fuel flows better and you can hear and see the fuel going back to the filler neck to tank. This kit is easier to install because you dont have to drop the tank. Just unplug the connector above the tank going to the engine. Overall I like this kit and recommend to anyone with a diesel engine. ... show more

Works great, not too difficult to install. I recommend getting a hose cutter. Use lubricant on the hose and fittings for easier install. Note this is not the 4g motor its the 1st generation.

Installation wasn’t bad, instructions were good. Someone made a post about buying a plug for the draw line if using a sump, good advise. Also be prepared to cut a notch in the fuse box for the signal wire, but that’s no big thing. The truck feels more responsive, though that’s probably wishful thinking, but the fuel mileage picked up half an mpg pulling my toy hauler, confirmed math. ... show more
