Installed this Airdog lift pump on my 05 duramax, bolted up perfect, its out of the way, out of site, and the kit included everything you need. The fuel pump body is one piece billut, awesome kit. My only suggestion to airdog: if they would not install the electrical ends from factory and just include them in the kit for field install. They give you plenty of wire, I cut off the extra wire instead of bunching it all up in a zip tie. I had to purchase new wire ends. Also get a good fuel line removal tool, the 13$ one not the 5$ one,makes the job much easier. Runs smoother. ... show more

    • Lift Pump works. Easy install
I purchased this lift pump to extend the life of my Duramax injectors and CP3 pump. After installing I noticed the fuel flows better and you can hear and see the fuel going back to the filler neck to tank. This kit is easier to install because you dont have to drop the tank. Just unplug the connector above the tank going to the engine. Overall I like this kit and recommend to anyone with a diesel engine. ... show more

Works great, not too difficult to install. I recommend getting a hose cutter. Use lubricant on the hose and fittings for easier install. Note this is not the 4g motor its the 1st generation.

Used it on my 2005 duramax and it works great! Definitely noticed the throttle response and my truck runs a lot stronger than it did before.

    • Should have bought it when I bought the truck
easy to install on my 2005 duramax! Definitely has better throttle response and smoother idle. I used a piece of leftover fuel hose from the kit to delete my stock filter completely and have had no issues so far.

Although I felt I did my homework on this one, I didn't find any feedback or item description that would adequately warn a DIY mechanic that access to a 10K auto lift or a 1K overhead lift is almost mandatory to install the high flow suction tube. Be advised; 8-2 in the installation booklet states that you must drop the fuel tank or remove the bed to install the tube and failure to install it or an aftermarket sump WILL void warranty and cause pump failure. Sorry that's a NO-CAN-DO for me and I lost $16.00 for the return. One star as the unit does look to be of high quality craftsmanship. ... show more
