I have had this for a little while now and it is still going strong. We have a club foot bathtub so of course we had to purchase this to use a shower. I would recommend mostly if you don't want the trouble and expenses of putting a whole new setup in the bathroom.

Good shower kit with easy install

Easy to install and the head gives a very comfortable flow of water. Very stable when secured to the wall with the adjustable brackets that are included. Standard nozzle so the shower head can be changed if desirable. Daughter likes this one so all the better

Works as it should

Great option for us. When we purchased our house it had a shower stall in one bathroom and a soaking tub in the other. This allowed us to turn the soaking tub into a functional shower. It was so easy to install, and came with an "extra" piece to make the rod taller if needed to fit your space (the extra wouldn't fit with our ceiling). It's nice to know you can customize the size to fit in your space. It came with all the parts and tape so the only tools needed we already had. The pipes are quality made and heavy enough so I'm not worried about it breaking. They provide you with tape to use during installation and leaving no leaks. The shower head provided has amazing pressure and works perfectly. It doesn't look the most attractive, but I won't complain because now we have another shower until we can redo this bathroom.

Major design flaw
Color: Black
This had the potential to be a really great product, but it is poorly designed with two major flaws. First, the positives. The pipe material is thick and sturdy, and the shower head is a good size with a nice amount of rotation at the neck, meaning you can angle it how you like easily. They provide a variety of pipe sizes so that you can adjust the height of the shower for your own bathroom; very great. The concept is great. (We are trying to create a shower for a clawfoot tub without destroying the tiled wall by having to access the internal plumbing.) But we won't be able to use it because of two major design flaws. One - the tub spout provided is angled slightly downward. The shower pipe attaches to the top plane of the tub spout. So essentially the pipe is at a right angle to the tub spout, but because the tub spout angles down, this puts the pipe away from your wall at about a 25-30 degree angle. It looks terrible, but even if you were willing to live with it that way, there's no way to anchor it to the wall with the anchor provided. You'd have to invent something. Second - the shower pipe screws in to the inside of the tub spout through a hole in the top of the tub spout. Despite being extremely gentle and NOT overtightening it, the piece of metal that threads into the plastic piece inside the tub spout immediately broke. This indicates that the narrow piece of threaded metal that screws down into the tub spout is extremely weak. The tub spout itself is also made of a cheap, plastic-y feeling material. It should be a thicker, stronger metal, and if it were made to come out of the wall in a position horizontal to the floor, it wouldn't create the first problem. Overall I'm super disappointed, because the concept itself is exactly what I needed. It just needs to have some pretty basic corrections. If anyone out there knows of a company that makes a better version, please let me know.

Great converter

This converter kit is perfect for those old claw foot tubs and this one is very tall, I did g even use all the sections because it would’ve hit the ceiling. I used a different short head though so I can’t comment on that part
