First and foremost, I don't play Gears. but I love the design and its exclusivity. I purchased the gears Limited Edition console and have the controller. So I see this charging station and while it does appear expensive for charging one controller. I just had to have it for the design and intriguing function. This design function is what I believe should be used for all controllers. You simply put the controller on it and whammo, it starts charging. No fuss trying to adjust controller or pressing down. This unit works great! The charge is great! It looks great to me and I'll probably buy another for my scorpio edition controller. yes, there is a scorpio edition charging base--but, it sure doesn't look as good as this gears edition. The media could not be loaded. I bought a controller charging station from controller gear before and it was just how I expected, but when I got a Xbox series X controller I found out the locks were different so I had to buy a new one, and it works well, it looks nice, it works nice, I would recommend it. I bought my first one, the sports edition white one a little over a year ago and it still works very well, it charges the battery in around 1-4 hours to max. So I highly recommend this for people who are trying to save money instead of buying more batteries. ... show more

I had this charging stand for about a year and it worked perfectly at first charged my controllers reliably and it charged fast. But , it just stopped working for no apparent reason. Disappointing since it worked so well for so long. But understandable, because things don't last forever.

Just the base. Not the controller. No auto off charger circuit so it will kill batteries after a year or so. Just take it off the base once charging is done.

I have two of these and one is for the Gears Xbox one X. The white version here is for my son for Xmas. These are probably the best chargers on the market in my opinion. The batteries are great and seem to last. If the battery does decide to go, Amazon sells the replacement here. https://www.amazon.com/Controller-Universal-Replacement-Battery-Rechargeable-x/dp/B08KL5PFQ5 Before, when I rated this charger, I didn't see the battery replacements. They do exist despite other reviews saying that they don't, and Amazon had them. This is literally the best charging stand out there and I highly recommend it. It goes right on with no adjustment to make it fit to get a charge. Literally the best charging stand out there and I've had plenty over the years.
