  • Good ware and protection.
Size: 700x28
I do a lot of riding even after work along the shoulder of the roads and paths that may have many things to pierce the tread and out of all the other Continental styles, the GatorSkin DuraSkin has given me less flats and last a long time.

  • Best Bike tires at the best price!
Size: 700x25
I do a lot of miles and this is the only brand I use for my road bike. The Bike store charges a lot more than on here!

  • These tires are AWESOME!
Size: 700x28
This is the 3rd set of Conti GatorSkin tires I'm running on my road bike. All three sets have been amazing. They are extremely puncture resistant and I have literally not flatted on any of the three sets I've bought and used. They also last a very long time... about double the life of what I was getting out of the Michelin Pro4 tires I've tried. They do not feel overly heavy and handle extremely well in the dry and wet. I've tried these in 700x23, 700x25 and now I'm using a 700x28 size. The added width is really great. It puts more contact patch on the road and also allows me to run slightly lower pressures so the ride quality is noticeably more comfortable. I highly recommend thse tires for everyday use and training. I'm sure you can find lighter weight tires if you are competing, but in day to day riding, the puncture resistance is much more important IMO. ... show more

  • You will spent less money on inner tubes, and less time repairing flats.
Size: 700x25
I purchased these back in 2021 because I ride on the road quite a bit and prior to purchasing them, getting flats was a bit too often for me. So in the 4 plus years I’ve had them on the bike, I had one flat, and that was due to a nail going through the sidewall of the tire. They offer excellent traction during the rain, they are extremely puncture resistant which is the one feature I was looking for. I highly recommend them. You will spend a lot less time repairing flats. ... show more

  • Great tires and no flats
Size: 700x25
Great tires. Generally used Conti Ultra Sports but was getting some puncture flats here and there. No flats since these have been on the bike but they are a little bit heavier. Also upped from 700x23 to 25s.

  • No More Flat Tires
Size: 700x28
After three days of flat tires in two weeks we bought these gator skin tires. Shazam! No more flat tires! These are tough and last! A game changer for trail riding in Florida!

  • AMENDED: Speedy Tire For Zipping Along Between Flats!
Size: 700x28
After writing this review I've had no further flat issues and the wear has been almost non-existent even as I'm consistently pushing around 100 miles a week on our crumbling bike paths. Still not sure what happened with those early flats (the tube was seriously pierced right in the same spot as the thistle), but given how well these have performed since then, I feel pretty confident that it was the tubes. These are great and you should give them a try if you're tired of shitty tires. However, I stand by my roast of racing gear dorks who don't race. Two flats in the first two weeks. Zero sidewall protection. Borked by a thistle along the paved bike path. Thorn was about as hard as a bird dog's whisker. Giving a neutral mark for longevity because mine are still new and I have no idea how they'll fare. Love to be stuck in a market with a bunch of oafs with delusions of competitive glory so 95% of products are geared toward being lightweight instead of functional. Great work. You really clipped in for that two mile ride to the office. I'm sure everyone was impressed by the hint of a pit stain in the New Belgium lycra. Better buy yourself a tactical chamois in case you have to wipe your brow next time. ... show more
