BEWARE! As I was using this product it started smoking fro the battery area. I had to quickly take it outside burning my hand! The seller said the only way that would happen would be if there was water spilled or some liquid. This is a very expensive piece of equipment that can only do one thing, I would be out of my mind to put it at risk by placing anywhere near water. The seller want me to return the device but I most definitely will not as I am taking it ti a product liability consultant which was not my first choice but left me no choice. I would not buy from them ever again. I rather spend more money on something that will not potentially burned my facility down. This cheap option is not worth the risk. ... show more

    • Subpar at best
I knew when I ordered this machine that it wouldn’t be great based on the price, but I did expect there to be every normal capability to some extent. There are no Doppler capabilities (had there been a proper description of the product I would’ve known this, so that’s on me for not inquiring before purchase) and annotation takes too long with the way the keyboard is with buttons instead of actual keys. This makes getting through a protocol in a decent amount of time basically impossible. You get what you pay for, so in that sense it’s fine and good enough to capture images when you’re just starting out maybe as a student. I wouldn’t use this machine for diagnostic purposes, however. On the plus side; you don’t need to have it plugged in all the time to use it (charge for a few hours and get an hour or two of use), and once you get used to how to control it the image quality isn’t bad for the price. Got this to ultrasound my ball pythons. I was thinking this was going to be too high tech but it was surprisingly easy. The only con to this machine in my eyes is the freeze button. Half the buttons are a pale icy blue/grey with white lettering which can be a little difficult, especially to a new user. Overall great machine. ... show more

I was able to confirm pregnancy within a minute of opening the box for the first time, without even reading any instructions. My last machine I had for months and months and even adjusting every single setting, it was not as good as this one right out the box. I love this machine
