Edit- AC works great... maybe too great. Dehumidify function works well as I can drop a room from 60-50% humidity in about an hour. Ended up getting a 2nd unit and my review is the same. Worth the price especially if you DIY and not fork out $1000 for an 'expert' install. Easy to install. Takes some initial courage drilling a hole to the outside, but once you get over that and feed the lines out it gets easier. Vacuum pumping is much easier than I thought. As for the mini split itself... I love that it plugs into a 110 outlet INSIDE so I did not need a dedicated circuit run. Heats great so far. The app to control it (Smart Life) did take a few mins to get working as if you fail to connect you have to unplug unit to try again. Tested AC and it was cold. Will know better next year. Runs quiet inside (around 40db) and outside unit you can barely hear. Very happy so far... And this is a DIY unit as long as you have a vacuum pump and a hole saw. I added line covers outside for curb appeal ... show more

This mini split works great in my garage.I have it set at 77 degrees and it keeps ir at that temperature and both inside unit and condenser are super quiet the best $400 plus dollars I have ever spent.I highly recommend it

I’m a Refrigeration Mechanic and I bought this last summer 2025 to install in the house I rent. Another reason I bought this one is because it plugs directly into a regular 110v wall outlet. The benefit to that is you don’t need to run conduit to the electrical panel. Yes you’re going to need to add more refrigerant because you have to make up for the empty line set the unit comes with. Pull your vacuum for 45 minutes and your good. After set up it's a plug and play unit. Also, hold the +/- button for 5 seconds to change from Faren height and Celsius. I’m debating if I should buy a 2nd one because eventually, I’ll move and I must take them with me. This unit is too awesome to leave behind. Brand new 12000 btu unit. Installed professionally. Ran for over 3 hours day 1, then it ran for over 4 hours day 2. It only blows out cool air in heat mode, with fan on high, electric heat option turn on, fast mode turned on as well... the unit just does not heat up. My garage temperature never got over 60 degrees. I been trying to contact customer support before leaving this review, but no success with that. So here i am. I Will change review if issue resolved. But as of right now this was a big waste of money. I read the negative reviews prior to buying but I also read the positives and figured I'd give it a shot. Won't happen again. ... show more

    • good unit, terrible manual and instructions, does not come with a wall plate template
works great but the manual is not the best, does not come with a wall plate template and the remote does not light up and that means if I want to use the remote in a dark room I have to get up and turn the lights on to see the remote

We absolutely love these. We purchased 2. Our home has hot water baseboard heating, so there is no ductwork for AC. We have used 4 AC window units for the last 12 years and they had a hard time cooling the house when the temperature hit the high 90s. The window units also let and the bugs in. These 2 units almost cool the whole house (2200Sqft ranch) on there own. I would remove them every fall to cut down on our heating bills and put them back in the spring. I am 68 years old and every house I lived in had hot and cold rooms. I love to control the temperature in each room. We have a few rentals and plan on installing them there also. Great value and very quiet. We have had only 2 issues, one of the remotes doesn’t work very well. I need to point it directly at the unit our other one works even when it is pointed almost anywhere in the room? Also I have yet to figure out how to pair the mini split to our phones. Game changer! Freezes this little cabin down for pennies on the dollar. Ran it all summer with no issues and now using it to keep the place toasty warm without having to run our expensive propane furnace. Easy to install although I eliminated the 110v power cord and hardwired it in to a dedicated circuit. Also had to buy a longer line set because I wanted the condensing unit out of the way. Hard to believe they can build these things and ship them to the US for such a cheap price. ... show more
