Look, I know for just a few bucks more there are some great products out there but if you are a super tight budget, I would personally recommend giving this little mic a chance. If you are wanting to dabble in amateur podcasting or streaming and aren't looking to spend much money, this may be the route to go. Pros: Price first and foremost, for a little over 20 bucks, you are getting at the very least a working mic. Compact and easy to use with a phone setup if you are using something like Anchor for your podcasting. Cons: Raw sound has some buzz/static but nothing super noticeable, fixable with some good filter settings. Mic is VERY light and easily dropped (I dropped it on my bed right out of the box as it slipped out of my hand), and doesn't seem as it would survive a fall on hard surfaces. Final thoughts: If you are serious about wanting to record or stream via PC as your primary, I would personally recommend spending just a little more money on at least a USB mic, but if you are looking to just see if podcasting or streaming is something you think you'd enjoy, I would recommend picking this little guy up. As mentioned in my "Pros" it's very compact and would be great for a iPhone/Android setup for podcasting if you are going to use something like Anchor as it has a splitter so you can plug both headset and mic into a single 3.5mm jack. Sidenote: I am personally gonna put this little guy to use and keep on me at all times in my backpack. Never know when an impromptu interview could pop up, and this would be great for those moments so I don't have to haul around my travel equipment all the time. ... show more

I have been using this microphone for almost a year now, the overall quality is not half bad for how cheap and simple it is made. I have not ran into any of the issues other people have claimed to have with this microphone yet, the only thing that I have noticed is when I plug into a new windows device I have to manually set the output volume to max because in windows its only set to like 20%, I also have to adjust the DB Volume a bit to better pick up my voice but that does not bother me as I only have to do that when I plug it into a new device it's not been plugged into before. I have had no one complain about how quiet I sound when using this microphone which is one thing my headset had an issue with, and no one has complained about it sounding like low quality either. The other complaint I have about this microphone is the cable length, when it was on the stand it came with and Infront of me the cable was not nearly long enough to go past my 2 monitors and into the back of my pc, the splitter also had 1 cable end that was slightly longer than the other end so when using 2 splitters just to extend the cable it was not as long as it could be, even with the 2 extensions I ended up making my own extension cable for the microphone just so I could use it with my boom arm as that will take away at least half the cable. Other than those few things it's been reliable for me I have not had any additional issues throughout the year, and I would recommend it to someone who needs a cheaper mic just to start out with. ... show more

No sé si por ser nueva en esto, o por poco conocimiento (lo más probable) pero también pienso que se puede hacer algo más de hincapié en el hecho de que con dispositivos apple la conexión o instalación no es tan fácil como 1 2 3. Primero definitivo que se agradece que venga el adaptador para las computadoras que solo tienen una salida para audífonos y no entrada para un micrófono como este. (Apple) Pero se debe decir en algún lado de las escasas instrucciones que al conectarlo debe ser cuando los audífonos que hayas elegido y el micrófono están ya en el adaptador luego es que lo conectas a la salida de la computadora, allí en preferencias del sistema en sonido debe entonces reconocer que hay un micrófono externo. de menos no lo reconoce. Estuve a punto de pensar que no servía. Lo logré con un video de YouTube . (gracias YouTuber) Por otro lado, sé que hay un video aquí que explica como se arma, pero creo que no cuesta nada si ponen los pasos en las instrucciones que trae el mic, sería muy útil en casos donde no hay conexión a internet o lo deseas armar en un momento donde no usarás la compu, en fin comodidad para el usuario que pueda encontrar la información clara y necesaria a mano. Pues el micrófono no es nada del otro mundo, si capta bien la voz, no disminuye sonidos externo o de ambiente supongo que seguiré aprendiendo como ir eliminando estos sonidos en la edición. Por el momento y como no puedo invertir en nada más me adaptaré a él. Si se puede invertir en uno que tenga entrada USB recomiendo que se haga la inversión. Por lo demás OK. ... show more

ok i am going say a few thing i have a blue yeti mic so ik a little bit bout mics not a alot not saying i am an expert by any means but one of my dislikes the install section of the book useless i got more info from the picture of the box than the book one other dislike but this dislike will very from person to person i had to add a gain filter for the mic to pick up my voice but i have a low voice now to the like the install process was really easy after i figure out what i was doing the sound was really decent it kinda surprised me for $20 after adding a gain filter i have not tested on a mobile device bc i don't have an aux port the packaging was nice and neat gave a few extra parts forcase u break the bands cant complain bout the microphone to much but its a cheap but well made ... show more

It’s a really good mic despite it being very cheap! The only downside is you can’t really control how much your mic can pick up and it takes a bit to set it up so that your console understands that you’re speaking through it. But once you get it it’s simply leaving it on and hopping onto any game with voice chat. ... show more
