I have the microphone connected to a Zoom H8 Recorder and it has fairly decent quality especially after setting my noise gate, limiters and compressions on the Zoom recorder. I think it is decently priced for what I need it for and look to purchase another one for my podcast. I give it three stars because I am missing a piece that is needed to tighten the smartphone holder to the arm, so I will need to go out and purchase something that will securely fasten the "goose neck" piece to the boom arm.
