Description

Give your hair long-lasting volume quickly with the sleek and versatile Conair 1875 Watt Turbo Hair Dryer. With excellent heat and airflow driven by the quiet-tone motor, this hair dryer uses turbo action and ion output to boost volume and condition your hair. Dry your hair and help fight frizz with this ionizing hair dryer from Conair. The blow dryer has a sleek, comfortable design and convenient, versatile functions. An out-of-the- way hanging hook simplifies storage. The dryer also features 2 heat/2 speed settings and a cool-shot button to lock hair styles in place. Designed to dry hair faster and maximize volume, the diffuser enhances your hair’s natural textures and the concentrator works to bring smooth style to your locks. CAUTION: Always use diffuser on low heat/speed. NEVER USE HIGH HEAT SPEED/ SETTING when the Diffuser is fitted to the dryer, as this may lead to damage to hair dryer and diffuser attachment due to abnormal heat build-up. Dry your hair and improve its health at the same time with this ionizing hair dryer from Conair. Built with a motor that's no louder than a low office hum, this dryer has a sleek, comfortable design and convenient, versatile functions. The most striking feature is the optional ion disperser, which coats hair with a cloud of negative ions to reduce frizziness, static electricity, flyaways, and dullness. The dryer also features two heat/speed settings and a cool-shot button to freeze styles in place. Designed to dry hair faster and maximize volume, the diffuser attaches easily and has a wide, narrow mouth, so the flow of air distributes to upper and lower layers simultaneously. The unit's hinged filter removes for easy maintenance, and the automatic shutoff disables power if the dryer falls or gets wet. An out-of- the-way hanging hook simplifies storage and reduces wear and tear on the cord. --Emily Bedard P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Brand Story By Conair See more

  • Best Blow Dryer Ever!
Best Blow Dryer of all time and I have tried a ton. My hair is fine and thinner then it used to be. This Blow Dryer is Powerful. I don't use heat on my hair at all so set it fir High and Warm. Works great. My other one just gave out after almost 5 years so bought this one. Love. Highly Recommend!

  • Item is great, shipping method was not
Product works fine, but was shipped only in ORIGINAL ITEM'S BOX (displaying exactly what item was, out in the open in my driveway) with only a shipping label pasted on top. Great way to encourage customers items to be stolen, not bothering to put item in an actual amazon box to COVER what the item is. Other than that, item is great but amazon needs to do better. ... show more

  • Best ten bucks I've ever spent!
First of all, let's put things in perspective -- I am not a stylist. I don't use a blow dryer to "style" my hair, but rather to dry it after showering. I have very thin, fine hair that dries quickly but easily gets frizzy and fly-away. The hand dryer I've had for over 15 years did the job, but unless I used a leave-in conditioner before drying, my hair would often end up looking like shredded wheat. Not attractive! So when it came time to buy a new dryer, I took a look at the ionic ones, which claim to leave hair soft and silky instead of frizzy and fly-away. And since this one was so inexpensive, I figured I'd give it a try. Well, it's fabulous! When dried with this dryer, my hair actually feels silky. And my hair has NEVER felt silky! And to make things even better, that silkiness lasts between shampoos. I've read a few complaints here that the blower on this dryer isn't strong enough, or it doesn't get hot enough. They may have a point -- the air emitted does seem to be less hot than my much older Conair. But the blower seems strong enough for me. My hair dries in about the same amount of time as it did with my old dryer. But what makes this so great isn't the heat or the amount of air, it's the ionic thing. I don't know why it works, or how it works, but I love this thing, and the fact that it actually costs LESS than the one I bought fifteen years ago is just icing on the cake. It's a great dryer and it won't set you back much. What's better than that? ... show more

  • Bought Two
I went ahead and bought TWO of these through Amazon, because the model description had almost every feature I was looking for, and was at a great sale price (thanks Amazon). They both arrived quickly and in perfect working condition (thanks again Amazon). My wife is the more discriminating user, and has used this model for about a month, and the following review is mainly from her experience. She has long hair that's been permed for loose curls. Her hair is not thin nor thick, but average. She does color her hair, and uses good quality conditioners and leave-in treatments as needed. Here are her comments (compared to other hair dryers she has used): ** PRO'S 1. This dryer gets her hair dry quicker. 2. It leaves her hair softer. 3. It "may' leave her hair shinier, but she's not sure since she also uses conditioner and/or leave-in. 4. It is quieter (fan). 5. It has robust air movement (fan). 6. It comes with 2 accessories (concentrator, and diffuser). 7. She thought she would use the concentrator more, but the two built in air flow settings are so nice, she rarely needs to use either accessory (though they both work as intended to expand dryer functionality). 8. Visually, it looks very nice, and appears to be high quality workmanship. 9. It feels solid, not too heavy or too light in weight - it's shape/weight is comfortable to use. 10. Having separate controls for fan speed and heat is very handy, giving easier control while drying. 11. It has a perfectly positioned cool-shot button button that is easy to hold down. We recommend holding that button at the end of styling to lock in your style, but also to cool down the heating coils before shutting it off (which we believe may prolong the working life of the dryer). ** CON'S 1. This is a complaint that will not matter to everyone, but is a pet peeve of mine, and seems to apply to every hair dryer I look at. I may not be the only consumer looking for this feature, so manufacturers..listen up. This unit has a button to switch between Hot and Warm heat settings, and it also has a cool-shot button. My wish is for Hot/Warm/Cold switch settings (with or without a cool-shot button). Ie, I'd like the dryer to be able to blow cold air without having to hold down a cool-shot button. There are just times when it would be great to use the unit for tasks needing prolonged cool air blowing. Alternatively, perhaps having a cool-shot button that clicks on/off when pressed rather that being a hold-down button would also suffice. 2-15-14 Update: Been using this dryer daily for 2 years so far, and it still works like new. Good quality. ... show more

  • happy with purchase
Very happy with this product. Not too heavy and has good air flow. I like the different settings and the quality is good.

  • Loved the weight. Only lasted 8 mos.
I really liked the fact that it is lightweight. But after only 8 mos. one day I noticed the dryer getting noisier and finally there was a pop/cracking sound and smoke began to come out. I immediately unplugged the dryer and could hear a rattling when I moved it so obviously something broke off inside and was burning. So wish it had lasted. ... show more

  • Good Dryer, Particularly for the Price
My wife decided to pick one up from Amazon after using one at a friends house. The first big plus is was how affordable it is, particularly for the quality. She used to use a Che dryer until the heating element failed; although Che claims to offer a higher quality product (they certainly try to sell you on that at least), it broke in less than a year. She hasn't used any of the attachment yet, but she prefers the the feel of the dryer and how quiet it is. It is a little heavier than any other hair dryer she's owned, but the substantial casing is good for drops; it still works after getting bumped off the counter and hitting tile twice so far. With her Che, it took her about 20 minutes to completely dry her hair. With the Conair, it's closer to 15 minutes. The shine and volume of her hair remain similar to the Che, but she uses Redkin Quick Dry, so that is likely a wash. I tend to be skeptical about the longevity of consumer goods with heating elements; they are never very well made and tend to fail relatively quickly compared to other products. If this dryer quits in 7 months like her old Che did, I won't be nearly as aggravated about replacing it since this was literally 1/10th of the price. ... show more
