I purchased this for my new puppy before he arrived. I chose this style because I liked the easy assembly and disassembly, as well as the door set up. I used the supplied rubber post/spike end protectors to protect my indoor floor. I also purchased a huge washable pee pad to set it on. The pee pad covers a large area rug. I also duct taped small pieces of cardboard in front of each front spike, to prevent them from being bumped off the pad and onto the laminent floor. Fortunately, my pup never really jumped against the panels very much. The few times he did, a stern scolding pretty much stopped his jumping. However, be forewarned... If you have a jumper, no matter where you use this pen, DO NOT EVER leave you dog along in the pen with a collar on!! When my pup was just tall enough standing on his hind legs to reach to top level of the spikes/pins, his collar got hooked over the spike/post ends, and he could have choked to death hanging by his collar! Luckily he could stand up high enough until I came back in the house and "saved him". I was only outside about 10 minutes. It scared him enough that he never did that again. Scared me enough that I never left him alone in the pen with his collar on!! ...for several months anyway. He's big enough now and calm enough that I no longer worry about this issue. Other than that, this pen is super quality, and I'm still using it daily. My pup is now 6 months old, a pit-lab mix. He uses this when ever I need to go outside for a short time...15-20 minutes...tending my chickens. He's been trained to be good to get treats when I come back. For longer time periods, he's kennel trained. I feel that this pen was an excellent purchase. It's nice to look at in the house, sturdy, and well made. The door is easy to open and close, and a GREAT feature for both myself and my pup. It's extremely easy to take apart and put together. Comes with several items to make carrying and transporting it easier. I remain very happy with this purchase.

I wanted an open playpen for my new puppy and this product is great! It looks so nice in my living room. Much nicer than a crate. She walks right into the crate when she's tired. Great place to put her when I am going out or when company comes. It was so easy to assemble. I bought 12 panels and have one in tge living room and a smaller one outside. She us such an active and friendly puppy that when someone comes over with another dog, I can easily put her inside to keep her safe.

I loved these playpens so much that I have bought three of them in the last month. I use two as indoor playpens at home and office and one as an outdoor playpen for potty training. They work great in both applications. They are very easy to set up when we travel with the puppies. My only advice would be to start with the gate portion when you assemble it, because I have set the entire thing up only to realize that I have created a situation where the gate latch is facing inside to the dogs. Easy enough to reverse, just unnecessary work. Another nice thing with these playpens is that I could always combine two of them together to create one much larger playpen area for the dogs. The system to lay them flat and attach a handle for Easy Transport works exactly as it should and makes them very easy to take with you for travel.

The material used is metal and is very durable/sturdy. Easy to set up. The carry strap was not provided with my package and it should have. The carry strap was one of the reasons for getting this specific gate as well as the gate barrier. Overall the functionality of it is great and I'm happy with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded. It looks good and sturdy, some of the gates are a little dented but I was able to fix it. It is missing the Easy-Carry straps. That's the reason I picked this product. I did notice the reviews say parts were missing. So I am a little disappointed. I got the 8 panel 32" tall. I have two boston terrier pups. So it will work.
