The media could not be loaded. I got tired of using ice cube trays in my freezer because they take too long to freeze AND the trays gobble up space; this portable countertop ice maker is exactly what I needed to stock plenty of ice and not have to wait for more cubes. It has options for small and large "bullet" shaped nuggets, and the push-button display panel is easy to use. It lets me know when to add water to the reservoir and when the ice tray is full. A silicone plug underneath the unit is a cinch to pull out so surplus water can drain into my sink without tipping the machine before storage if I need the extra counter space. There's a removable slotted basket that nests inside the front above the water reservoir, so if cubes sit in the basket too long and begin to melt, the water cycles back into new ice cubes. I periodically dump the basket of ice into gallon Ziploc bags and store them in a freezer, but a small scoop is included and can be used to put ice directly into drinks. The ice maker is surprisingly quiet, fast, and it does just as I'd hoped: it keeps my family stocked up on ice! If you're tired of messing with ice cube trays and freezing times, I highly recommend this ice maker.

Works great - this is a fine counter-top ice maker. This unit is perfect for our travel trailer. We currently have one already but it's just too big and bulky. This ice-maker is much nicer - more compact and produces ice cubes quickly. The small cubes melt pretty fast so we have it set to the larger cubes. Because of its compact size, we can keep this in our trailer vs our larger one was kept outside on a folding table. Much easier to clean and pack - this is perfect for travel, camping, dorms or a small bar.

Review of: Quyndor Ice Maker Machine Countertop 26lbs/24H, Portable Quiet Ice Maker, Cubes in 9PCS/7Min, Self Cleaning, Ice Maker This countertop ice maker can quickly make roughly a handful of small ice cubes per batch. The bullet shaped cubes come out perfect and automatically roll over right into the bin, every 7-8 minutes until the bin is full or the water runs out. The cubes do stay frozen pretty well, but over time they will slowly melt, and the water then drains through to the water reservoir below which is then used to make new cubes. Because of this, the machine is always running. It is not excessively loud, just a small hum as it runs, but then you do hear the ice drop every so often when a new batch comes through. The bin size holds enough ice for a couple of drinks, or a small lunch cooler. The machine is small enough to be stored on the counter without getting in the way too much, unless you are really cramped for space. I really like that I can pour bottled water in to make my cubes instead of using tap water. I live in Florida where all of the water is gross, and I do my best to avoid even filtered tap water (aka what the refrigerator ice maker uses) as much as possible. This machine makes a great alternative.

This is a great compact size ice maker, it doesn't take up a ton of counter space and it's easy to use. All you do is put your water in, choose small or large cubes, and press start. It also will let you know when it needs water and when the ice bucket is full. This ice maker is actually NOT portable. It is light-ish and has a handle. I guess you could let it fill up the ice bucket and move it somewhere else to use and keep the ice in it, that wouldn't be hard since it's light enough to carry. It does run quiet as advertised, you can barely hear any noise from it. I'm pretty happy with this ice maker, it works well for what it's supposed to do.

I love the crushed ice from Sonic, and while this portable ice maker doesn't make it, I can settle for the hollow ice cubes. I like having the portable ice maker, especially when I'm having a dinner party or small gathering. This maker is perfect for the dry bar, and I'm not running back and forth to the fridge. The maker's capacity is great, and it produces ice cubes quickly. I like how easy it is to use, and all I need to do is supply the maker with water to get the job done. I like that I can select the size of the ice cubes and the functionality of the control panel. Overall, this is the best ice maker for a wet or dry bar, for the dorm room, RV camper, and portable to make ice anywhere.
