We purchased this to replace a countertop ice maker that gave us years of great reliable service. We bought this for two reasons, more ice capacity and it would take 5 gallon water bottles. Well, that was wishful thinking. We recieved it on June 4th and set it up following the directions. Leveled it and placed a 5 gallon water bottle on it. Sadly it has collapsed every water bottle and then gets an error code E-2. We check it and the bottle has collapsed. We "burp" the bottle only to have it do it time and again. Does it make ice? Sure, but you literally have to babysit this damn thing. We have searched the internet to find a simple solution with zero success. Would I buy it again? That's a resounding NO! It only filled up with ice and shut itself off like it's supposed to. The directions are of zero use regarding this issue. Buyer be aware. Update: We found a solution to the issue. We purchased a couple of reusable silicone 5gal. Water jug caps that seem to have solved the problem of collapsing plastic water jugs. These reusable caps make the jug sit slightly tilted and provide a slightly larger opening allowing the bottle to vent better and self-burp. Now we simply have to refill the jugs, use the silicone caps purchased here on Amazon. Go figure... The manufacturer/seller offered zero solutions or help in resolving this huge issue, though.

Stopped working after a month, conveniently after the return window closed. It just stopped making ice, no instructions for troubleshooting. I've tried disconnecting it, using the cleaning feature, letting it defrost, resetting, but no water coming out onto the tray to produce ice.

piece of junk im still paying for it and it leaks water from inside somewhere and collapses 5 gallon water bottles and of coarse no phone number to call anyone its alot of money to throw away when ive only made like 10 pound bag of ice

This works really well when attached to a water line. We have to use a water jug for ours and it works well, but the jug leaks and is cumbersome to use. Great for making ice for same day use or for filling ice baskets in freezer as the machine will not keep the ice frozen in the machine. We have ours on the patio and use it when we have functions/parties and for this it is great. Makes ice really well. It takes about 18 minutes for the first round of ice and about 14 minutes each thereafter.
