I have been in touch with the company today. They are sending a new unit ( the top part of the ice maker)as soon as they are in stock. We are very hopeful that this will fix the problem. I will give an update! Here is the update. I received a new top unit on Monday. The box was severely damaged and retaped several times. Upon inspection, the inside cardboard on top of the unit was wet with fluid. The top of the unit was also damp. Look inside the back screen of the unit with a flashlight, which was soaked. My husband and I are sure that all of the coolant has leaked out. Very disappointed. I emailed Mojgar directly and sent pictures for the last two days, but I have yet to receive a reply. Scam!! Run!! Do not purchase. Came damaged and stopped producing ice after a few months. Makes 1/5 th the ice they state lied to us won’t refund our money. Been fighting with them and Amazon with no results. Was told its third party so you have to work with them. No responses no refund no ice absolute scam.

So far we have had it a month and it has worked great. Downfall it the electric bill went up $100.00 and this is the only thing that we can contribute to the possible cause. SO just keep this in mind when purchasing any machine with the way electricity has gone up in price. UPDATE : Company contacted us several times on there own and credited our account to help compensate for the electric bill. SO far, seems like a very upstanding company that I would recommend doing business with. At least this company cares about its products ,company name and customers. Hard to find that these days.

My wife and I have been doing a lot of research on machines and finally decided on this one. She no longer chews on ice so although the description shows 'Nugget', it is actually not a nugget machine. If you look at the video, it is quite obvious. The instructions to install this machine and then to start running it are not clear. Although ours is up and running, it is not as simple as one might think. I'm a self described handyman with thousands of hours of home improvement and appliance repair so I thought it wouldn't be a problem. A few trips to Ace and we were finally up and running. Make sure to really wrap that teflon tape around a lot of times... like 10! Took for ever to stop all of the leaks. It definitely produces the ice, for sure. Took about 12 hours to fully fill the bin and it is LOUD as all get out when it dumps the ice. I think it is because it hits a plastic plate that directs it down. I think I'm going to add some type of insullation to the outside of the plate to see if it reduces the noise. I'll add everything in a future comment. I'll also add better instructions in a future comment as I feel it will help those who are not sure on how to put the documentation provided into action. Be well informed that ice melts in the bin. We lose about 5 gallons of water through the melting process per day. We are working on a method to route that water to an outside bin to use for landscaping. Overall, I'm happy now that it is installed. The wife wants to return it.
