This unit probably wasn’t meant for the US. Went together easily. Feels solid. It came with what appears to be a Type 1 power cord. No problem, I used one of my spares. Hey, it says it’s a 110v. I turned it on and the three red focus lights came on…all over the place. Shipping can be a bear. The outer box looked like Godzilla played football with it. Again, not a big issue. I adjusted the lights. The first thing I noticed was that this thing was dead silent. I have a Glowforge, and it sounds like a jet trying to take off. I load the EzCad2 software, add the driver and start messing around. I was able to get the lights to preview the burn, but it wouldn’t burn. I have Lightburn, but you have to pay more for a galvo add-on. Insert more driver issues. Sort out those issues, but still won’t burn. Rather than send it back, I popped the cover off of the side. The power supply was set to 220v. Flipped the switch to 115v and everything started working. The website FAQ has a few entries that are legit from an English as a second language course. Zero relevance to the site or product. The manual is garbage. A couple acrylic pieces were broken as well. The unit itself is good though. Once I got through the garbage set up, it’s a decent piece of gear. Buyer beware though.
