This brand is always reliable. I like the color, fabric, and fit. The best thing I like about Commando's slips are they have a weighted bottom that keeps the slip down...it doesn't ride up and doesn't have the clingy factor. It's costs a little more but always better to pay a little more and have good and durable piece than pay for cheap stuff that falls apart and have to keep replacing. ... show more

I don't normally even buy slips, much less a slip that is this pricey! I really wanted a slip that was NOT a shaper...I just wanted something as a layer under my sheerer dresses . I wanted something that was soft and unnoticeable to me. I didn't want something that I would have to adjust all day. I didn't want something that was too constricting. This fit the bill. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the laser cut edges. It helps the slip to feel like it's almost invisible. When I purposely have the top of the slip show, the laser cut edges look really sleek. The fabric is thin, however, it's super sturdy. I bought one in white and have started using it with dresses I normally didn't even wear a slip with previously. So here's the crazy part...I loved it so much I just got another one in black. this slip looks like it hangs away from your body and gives you a little room. when i got it (i sized up since i gained some weight) it was a terrible and embarrassing experience. I wore this only once and never will again. my dress was see-through so i needed something for modesty. i ordered a large because i have recently gained some weight. instead of being loser fitting it clung to my body making my boobs and stomach sweat. the worst part was that every step i took it kept riding up over my hips! not only was it embarrassing since my dress was see-through it made me self-conscious and it almost worked as a reminder that i'm fat and nothing fits me right. i have gone through so many slips it countless at this point. this was probably the worse one. for being so tight it didn't even suck anything in or boost my butt. terrible buy! ... show more

This slip works exactly as advertised, and really makes everything fit more smoothly without the oomph of shapewear. My only complaint is that I wish it had a lower neck, maybe with a v-neck. Ultimately I may end up wearing a half-slip more often.

I love the cut on the slip because I can move freely. I love that I can adjust the straps and this is perfect for a mini dress. The material is not too sheer and the neck is low enough not to be seen under the dress.
