  • exactly what I needed
I did not use these for posters, but they worked exactly how I needed them to. I used them to attach 3x4 wood pieces to my wall to make a Scrabble board. I placed two on the back of each slab and they held up perfectly. Even though the heat and moisture of the summer, they have lasted.

  • Strong and secure, but not "damage free" in my experience
I believe that I had followed the directions correctly...But still saw damage to both the wall and on the items I hung up for display! I used these to hang up over 30 Halloween cardboard cut-outs and nearly a third of them were left with sticker pulls (areas of missing paper) from being removed. I went very sloooowly and still lost paper! Now we also have a couple new spots on the walls with missing paint and a few even lost the top layer of drywall! Again, I followed the directions so not sure what went wrong. These did perfect keeping everything up on the walls, but with the damage they left i'll never use them again and would caution other buyers as well! ... show more

  • The adhesive EXPIRES! Your things will FALL!
I purchased a massive amount of different types of command strips in the first part of 2019. We were painting the inside of our old house to sell it. I wanted to put things back up on the wall so there were no holes when I took them down. We moved to our new house in July 2019. I used Command Strips on almost everything that went on the wall except for the very heaviest things. My walls have a texture but it is mostly flat so I did my best to make sure the Strips were placed where they would have a flat surface. I also wiped down the walls with alcohol per the instructions. 3M says they are only for use on flat surfaces. Good grief! Where does any house have a completely flat surface other than on cabinets? Anyway, I overestimated the weight of everything and used bigger Command Strips and put a Strip on every corner of everything, except for the hooks. In October 2020 my things began falling off the walls. I wrote to 3M and, basically, it was my fault for using them on textured walls. I proceeded to screw and nail up my wall decor. However, I had a temporary, light-weight decoration to hang so I peeled a Command Strip and found it had no more adhesive whatsoever! I pulled out a different size and it was the same thing! I started checking them all and most of them had no more adhesive! No wonder my things were falling! There's no expiration date on them so should they poop out like that? I don't think so. I wrote back to 3M saying I no longer wanted to use their product and wanted to send everything I had left to them so they could send me a refund. They sent me a label so I'm returning everything! By the way, I kept them inside the house so they weren't exposed to sunlight or temperature extremes. ... show more

  • Best Poster Strips on the Market
These are the best poster strips on the market by far. I use the poster strips for traditional posters, more delicate paper posters/projects, fabric posters, and laminated materials. No matter the material, the size, or the length of having it up for these strips do the job perfectly. I've seen complaints that it tears up posters when taking down. I can say that I have never run into that issue taking down any of my posters. So long as you follow the instructions and allow the adhesive to slowly come off the wall, you will have no problems with damage. 5 Sticky Stars out of 5! ... show more

  • Good product.
This was a great poster hanger. Very simple to use and to take it out. The only reason I am taking one star of this item is that because wasn't the item I was looking for. I was looking for the kind of hanger that would be used for frames and for some reason this show up on my search, and even tho it states poster hanger I didn't seem that it was very well noticed that wasn't the one I was looking for. I know that this might be silly, but I never hanged posters with those before and I though only those pair hangers existed. But if you do need to hang posters or small signs, it works fine. But just be aware that it does not hold things with a lot of weight. Attached are some signs I hanged with those items on my dry wall. ... show more

  • The best hanging solution
Great for posters, any size, and small canvas paintings. I used these to hang 16x20 canvas paintings my children made at art camp. They’ve been on my wall for over 5 years and are intact. These are great for hanging posters on walls even the larger size posters. I recommend the command strips and command tape for in between. Works great! These are, however; difficult to remove from posters if you need to move them and replace. Best to just leave them because trying to remove the strips will damage your poster. Just put new ones next to the old ones. We’ve also used the hooks by command and they are durable as well. ... show more

  • Good for lightweight decor 🌠
These are definitely not for heavy-weight items but are perfect for lightweight items as intended. I've used these to hand lightweight (0.5 lb) acoustic board panels, small canvas, and small picture frames. As long as it's not too bulky, lays flat, and isn't over a pound these strips (2 or more strips for each item ) should work. I wouldn't recommend the intimation ones (that mimic the Command brand) as those haven't worked as well in my experience. But of course, I would recommend these. I hope this review helps :) ... show more

  • It wont damage youre product or get stuck to it . very weak adhesive on one side . Why?
Could have a stronger hold. some of my styro foam egg shells keep falling rom the ceiling and wall. 8 out of ten hold on wall. but all are holding at this time afther adding more pressure. i dont know about the summer heat . i can see them all falling off the wall when summer hits 2021.
