BACKGROUND- we had been living out of hotels for about a month and had 2 months to go (Military family in-between duty stations and trying to buy a house in a sellers market) we have 3 boys and decided to camp it out. First week we had a pop up tent that was a lot smaller then it looked, put a blow up mattress in it and we went from some room to none... we switched to a KOA campground and the kids had a blast there but we found ourselves sleeping in our car almost every night. Especially rainy nights. So I bought this tent for my birthday.. REVIEW- This tent is definitely a 5 star tent. I know it’s considered a yurt. I got the smallest one and it was HUGE I was surprised how easy it was to set up. We could walk around in it. Opened the windows for a breeze, put two queen size blow up mattresses in and a fan... and there was still plenty of room.. it stayed very dry the days it rained. I can’t say enough good stuff about this tent.. if you’re reading reviews wondering if you should spend the money on this tent. Don’t hesitate. It’s big and heavy to carry so it’s not a tent for backpacking obviously. If you’re not popping it up somewhere near the car get a wagon or wheelbarrow to pull or push it. As I said it’s heavy. We’ve been using it for a couple months now and finally closed on a house.. I plan on doing Airbnb with the tent. Hopefully that goes good. Happy camping. ... show more

Purchased this prior to Summer Camp with the Scouts. Received great remarks from the whole camp on how cool and awesome it is. Lots of praise!! I had a chance prior to camping, to set it up and apply the waterproofer (1.5 gallons + of Star-Brite with PTFE to avoid the fumes) with no issues. Issue now apparent are the zippers, especially the zippers that attach the tent sides to the floor. They are plastic and frequently jump off track. Wherever you plan of pitching the tent, the ground has to be level so that equal pressure is exerted on the zipper seams, otherwise the zipper seams begin to split. I've learned to not anchor the stakes so low or tight to the ground, to give the floor a little slack to ride up on uneven ground. The design of the tent makes re-attaching the zipper relatively easy, however, it gets annoying. I've had this tent for 2 months already and have used it for a total of 18 nights, have set it up and broken down at least 6 times, with no other issues or concerns. I'm able to stay and sleep good dry during a few moderate thunderstorms. Other similar bell tents I found elsewhere and on Amazon did not have the neat feature to roll up the sides of the tent, so if you want the ability to unzip and roll up the sides or remove the floor, then this is something you would have to deal with. If you do not wish to remove the floor or roll up the sides, then I would suggest a bell tent without the removable floor, and there wouldn't be a zipper issue.... I'm giving 4 stars as I didn't realize I really would never roll up the sides and I have to deal with the zippers. It isn't the "perfect" tent for me to award it all 5. It's a 12-sided tent, with 4 half-moon window flaps on the sides. The side to the right of the doorway has the opening for the stove jack. you would need a horizontal stove pipe to exit the tent instead of a vertical run. The main pole and the doorway poles all seem strong. I purchased a 4m tent pad for extra protection and use a waterproof puppy whelping pad as a rug. The floor itself is sorta rubberized and seems tough. Instead of using the storage bag, I store it in a plastic tote I purchased from the local home improvement store, which has 1 set of wheels, which is nice as the whole tent kit weighs about 100 lbs. So we just used this for the first time and absolutely loved it! Fit two queen air mattress in there was a little squishy but just fine! My husband is very picky about things and was surprised to find he actually liked something I ordered for once because it really feels quality! The bottom is like a pool liner material which is super nice and the zippers are really heavy duty. Also easy to set up and clear directions on how. Awesome tent, camped through 5 or 6 heavy rains since buying. No drips or standing water in it. I have portable 12000 BTU ac unit that keeps it cool on summer days and blanket cold at night and a Mr buddy propane heater for winter. I am totally happy with the tent. Mine is 16 foot and takes me 15 min or less to put up. Has withstood some major winds without a problem. I sat my tent up when I got it and it sat through a 3 day rain to seal the fibers, not one drop of water during the 3 days. Then it sat in the sun for 3 days to dry out completely. Love the tent, folds and rolls up and does fit the carry bag with room to spare. Sold my travel trailer and will use this from now on. P.S. The rope coming off the front opening is not required. It will knock off your hat and glasses when you run into it. I never use mine and tent performs flawless. Just toss rope on to the tent or hang to the side. ... show more

The first time I set this up the first of the two layers that the pole goes into to hold the tent up ripped, I messaged the seller with no response. We got 2.5 inches of snow last night and the pole went right through the top of the tent. The stiching is poorly done, only two of the three vent windows would open because one was sewn shut. Spend the money to buy from a company with a warranty if you plan on using it more than once or twice. ... show more
