  • Lots of Options for Comfy Fit
This is a great kit to make the Quest Pro more comfortable. I had brutal forehead pain from wearing the Pro with its normal pads for even a half hour. My head is longer than average from to back and the front pad's radius of curvature was too large for my forehead, so all the pressure concentrated in the middle. I had to use the strap at maximum extension and it still squeezed my head. Using this kit the way it's intended was still causing my head to be squeezed too much. I blame my weird head shape and not the kit. However, I was able to use pieces from this kit to mod up my headstrap to where I can now wear it for hours without any problems. For others who may have the same "long head" issue, I popped off the back pad and removed the rigid plastic piece altogether. I used a sticky velcro strip where the plastic was instead and then stuck on one of the pads from this kit onto the velcro (one of the narrow ones) I also replaced the front forehead pad with another pad from this kit, which is much thicker and softer than what it comes with. The kit is very high quality and gives you lots of options even if it won't work (as in my case) exactly as intended it has so many parts, it makes it easy to come up with something custom that'll work for you. The design is well thought-out and will probably work as intended for most people. ... show more

  • larger pads are worth it. Skip the middle support.
The middle support is really bad and uncomfortable. However, the larger rear and front fabric pads make wearing it much more enjoyable from the original pads.

  • Great Product needs some minor adjustments
Very good quality product. Fits well and is very comfortable. Definitely a much needed upgrade for your headset if you’re planning on getting a new interface for your Quest Pro. Only negative I have is the front gasket tends to not stay in the slots often.

  • Well built and useful accessory for Quest Pro
Easy to install and came with an extra anti-slip silicon cover for back pad. Just read the instructions or watch the video first. The top strap helps to reduce the pressure on the front and larger front/back pads secure the Quest Pro when you move. The only minor issue is the tpu leather material foe pads is not as good as original pads from Meta. But it is still a good accessory for my 2.5 years old Quest Pro. ... show more

  • Fixes EVERY comfort issue the Pro had
Worth every penny, and must buy for anyone with a Quest Pro. Larger fabric pads are easy to launder in a delicates bag. Forehead pad is like twice as big and REALLY helps spread out the weight. Cushiony top strap lets you wear the Quest Pro much 'looser' than with the pads it came with while keeping it steady on your head. Feels like wearing a quality motorcycle helmet, hardhat, etc. You know, you forget it's there after a few minutes. Some very minor changes to the base Meta design and it reminds me of a cross between the Quest One Head strap with a cushion, HTC's deluxe audio headstrap, and Bobo VR's Quest 2 halo strap. Top strap loops also made it easy to zip tie a smol cinch bag for a basic battery bank (I'll probably design a 3D print mount at some point) If you picked up a Quest Pro and had headache/comfort issues after an hour of use, consider Globular Cluster's kit. Meta 'almost' nailed the balanced and weight distribution. Slightly bigger cushions and a top strap would have made the Pro in line with the Index when it comes to comfort. Seeing people 'trying' to attach the Apple Vision Pro battery to the back of the strap as a counter weight just proves that Meta had the right idea. Thank you Globular Cluster for taking the time to provide the world with an alternative for a now niche VR headset. ... show more

  • !!Warning!! Early Quest Pro has differently spaced rear brackets.
I have a very early (dev kit) model of the Quest Pro. The holes on the rear pad are not as far apart as those in the rear pad from Globular Cluster and this will not fit. Miraculously, someone has posted an adapter if you have a 3d printer. I have a 3d printer and will try this out. It's on printables: 401811-quest-pro-rear-pad-offset-brackets Update: I was able to modify the 3d model to make an adapter. It snaps on securely, though with a tad less clearance from front to back. Luckily my head isn't very big and it's not a problem. This kit is much more comfortable than the original. ... show more

  • Feels good and actually stays mounted to headset properly
Bought a couple of these kits for my son and me. I originally had the VR Panda version of this kit, and enjoyed the feel of it, but for whatever reason the front head pad would not stay attached. Globular Cluster has managed to correct that issue, so this kit works flawlessly in making the Meta Quest Pro feel much more comfortable. If you are having comfort issues with the Quest Pro, give this a shot. It will likely solve them. ... show more
