Several years ago I bought an earlier version of this fan, I believe from Bed Bath and Beyond. After years of faithful service the bearings seized a week ago. I bought this replacement version. After assembly I turned the fan on and it was obvious that severe vibrations were causing the fan to be very noisy. The fan motor and the cage were vibrating intensely. I tried all manor of ways to correct without disassembly of the grey fan blade. But it was obvious the cage needed to be disassembled to check the blade. Removing the blade showed the blade was at fault. No vibration without the blade as expected. I then removed the blade from my old Comfort Zone model fan and put that white fan blade on the new fan motor. with the old blade NO VIBRATIONS, NO NOISE. - Quality control on the newer model fan is lacking! ... show more

    • Flimsy, no power, and not worth the money!
Pieces were broken upon arrival in one box. The other box had pieces missing. The fans barely stay together on the stands for one fan. They aren't super strong when it comes to putting out air, which makes it quiet. It moves the air, but not even close to being worth what we paid for it!!! Oh.... there is no remote control, this is a push button only fan. ... show more

Extremely overpriced broke literally four days later after purchase i attempted to return but due to not having the boxes ( through away because I had no idea that they were great for days later ) I wasn’t able to return iback I also tried to request just for a replacement but since I couldn’t find a box they canceled it and didn’t send the replacement so now I’m left with two broken fans that cost me $70 that would’ve cost me $40 had I just went to a dollar general store like what a complete waste of money for this cheap junk ... show more

This fan is a bit cooky....a little bit of wrangling to get it set up, main because of how the legs/stand of the fan fold up... Once set up it is a pretty quiet fan that blows air well...not big gusts, but enough to create a nice cooling breeze....I have now purchased two sets...
