I'd say this product gives decent support for your back on office chairs. But in terms of a massage, you're not really getting anything similar to a shiatsu chair massage. The product itself is very comfortable and easy to use. The massage itself is more of a heat and vibrating motion for your back and neck. the massage is nice but it can be a little harsh at first. there are three different levels. the back warmer is great! the extension cord is long which is very helpful. i wish it was taller or at least they provide different sizes because my upper back needs it more. this is only good for your butt and lower back. ... show more

This is a well made product. The heat and vibration feel excellent. My husband has been having back problems, and he's using this at the office. It's helping to soothe the ache. We have a couple of suggestions: My husband is very tall. He said he wishes it had a velcro strap so he could strap it around the chair to sit higher on his back. This is a very comfy vibrating massager for the back and neck. Has a separate neck piece that you attach to the back massager with a wire. You can change the vibration and heat settings using the controls on the side of the back pillow. By itself, it is very comfortable and the separate neck piece is a great touch and really adds to the ergonomics. The heat feels very good and the vibrations are pretty strong for both the back and neck piece. You can switch vibration settings to steady vibrations or pulsating vibrations. This lumbar massager is very attractive. The fabric is so soft and velvety. It's a perfect fit for my back. The vibration with the heat features are very effective, because the pressure of your back keeps the heat and vibrations isolated to your lumbar. Other vibration massagers tend to be aggressive and rattle my brain. It feels great in my car seat and desk chair. A couple of things to keep in mind. 1) This pillow is not very wide. I'm an average sized woman. My husband is an average/larger size. The pillow is a good size for us. 2) I have to cover 3 outlet holes on a power strip in order to fit it and my plug for my electric recliner. I'm going to have to find a different power strip, as this cord is bent hard against the next plug. ... show more

I think this is a wonderful product, except for the fact that it's so thick, that I couldn't sit in my chair comfortably. The massage felt great and the heat felt great but there's only so much room in an office chair and this takes up a good 4 in of it... I couldn't comfortably sit in my own chair and have this sitting behind me. Unfortunately I had to return it, I wish it was half as thick and it would have been perfect!!! ... show more
