  • Powerful and Great!
Size: 1.6cu.ft Color: Gray
The media could not be loaded. Edit: May/2025: still working GREAT! It’s probably paid for itself already, but I did have a leak in my kitchen sink so my apartment people put a new faucet in and now I’m unable to use the kitchen sink because the connections aren’t right. No worries, however! I was able to take my shower head/hose in along with the hose of the washer to my local hardware store and they found the correct fitting for me to hook them up that way so I’m able to wash again, just in the bathroom instead of the kitchen. A much smaller space, so that con is all on me. I’ve done quite a few loads and it’s still washing away and working great! Original review: This machine is a little beast! I delivered it to my grandpa’s house, which means I had to load it up into my car to get to my place, and that took two people. Getting it out and into my apartment took another two people, so make sure you have some help or some extra super strong muscles to move this thing on your own. Especially up and down stairs, as the box (which I tried cutting hand-holds into without success because it ripped) is awkward. I did order the dolly which was suggested to buy with it and I am glad I did. I would never be able to maneuver this thing around my apartment without wheels. As for the washing part: Extremely easy to set up. I did have a little trial-and-error with connecting it to my kitchen sink; the pressure would build and pop the connector piece off of the actual faucet. I noticed the “spout” on my sink had threads, so I took the spray-head off the spout and connected it that way, and to my surprise it worked. My fingers did get a little chopped up from having to tighten it (it still leaks slightly) so make sure you have a tool to help you tighten it down, but got through a couple of washes without the pressure forcing it off the faucet. I made the mistake already of not putting the drain hose over the sink, so my kitchen floor got a nice and deep unintentional clean lol. Only make that mistake once, and I’m sure you will remember like I did. As for the draining itself, it’s amazing. I’m so used to using a small 10lb Kuppet machine that I had to manually fill with water from my shower head, drain with a gravity drain, and then move the clothes by hand into the spinner which only fit half of the load at a time, so having a machine that does all the work in one go for me is grand. The water moves fast through the hose, and it took a bit of finagling to get the hose just right on the edge of my sink, but I do not fear it coming loose. I did try letting it drain into a 5 gallon bucket, but even the small load takes more than 5 gallons of water, so if you’re planning on draining that way, grab at least two or three Homer buckets. I was able to get a good 4 heavy hoodies in the ‘med’ load size (which I used for my first load to see how it did) and I absolutely could have fit more clothes in. I did about 20 garnments in the wash today (see the attached picture for two loads) and could have probably pushed it to 30 garnments and been fine. That’s two loads, people. MUCH more than what I’m used to. The con’s that I’ve found out as of now have been small. I need to play around more with the settings, but find everything works properly on the ‘wash, rinse, spin’/Medium/Cold/Heavy cycle. Button pressing does switch the settings, so before you hit start, make sure everything is where it needs to be. For some reason or another, the cycle washed and spun when I set it to a normal cycle, but didn’t do the rinse. It sat and drained for about 10 minutes without doing anything else, and acted like it was in a rinse cycle but didn’t have any water; the tub was just moving the clothes around dry, before I turned the power off and powered it back on, choosing just the ‘rinse and spin’ cycle to finish the load. So there are ways around it if the machine isn’t doing exactly what you want to do on the first setting. After today’s loads, it worked perfectly so I’m not sure if it was due to user error or something with the computer. It honestly could have been something I did. The spin cycle gets the clothes mostly dry. I put them on a clothes drying rack and about two hours later were able to fold them and put them away. As of right now, I do not feel the need to invest in one of those small portable dryers, as I’ve read it takes two hours to dry with those anyway. I live in a small-ish apartment (630 SqFt), and though this washer does take up a little bit of space, I plan on using it as my laundry hamper. I’ll throw my dirty clothes in at the end of the day, and when it gets to a proper load size, I’ll just wheel the machine out from where I’m keeping it in my bedroom and into the kitchen, do the wash, and put the machine away. I’m estimating it’ll be about twice a week, which is perfect for me. I mostly wear scrubs and leggings and t-shirts, so I don’t have many heavy or bulky loads to do, and it’ll save me some space with getting rid of my laundry baskets! This machine is very quiet. I couldn’t hear it from outside my apartment door, or outside from the sidewalk with my windows wide open. I even had music playing and still had to check to make sure everything was running because I thought a couple of times it had shut off. I think this machine is absolutely great and a huge step up from my little Kuppet that I’ve been using since 2018. It feels very well made, nothing cheap about it, even with the hoses that come with it. There’s not much I would change about it, except maybe find a way to make it a little lighter. If I ever need to get it out of my apartment again, I will definitely need some help. I’ll update in the future if anything about my review changes, but as of now I highly recommend it, especially for the price point! In total, my order came to about $380 including the dolly. If you can get it cheaper than that, you’re getting a STEAL! ... show more

  • Pros and Cons
Size: 1.6cu.ft Color: Gray
Pros: 1. Big enough to wash 11 lbs of clothes(but it's not recommended to use more than 8 lbs of clothes if tou want it to last longer). 2. Don't need to manually pour water in the washer like its direct competitor(this is actually the main reason why I chose this washer that automatically puts the water in the washer without you having to guess if you're putting enough water or not). 3. The washing, spinning, extra rinse are excellent. For my almost 40 years of life, I never had a single time when I used a washer/dryer brand new. Everytime I use a washer/dryer previously used by someone else, my clothes always have the smell of whatever the previous person put in there. Sometimes the smell is good but mostly it's awful. This washer removed all the bad smell my clothes had. I used the extra rinse feature which is excellent for making sure your clothes smell fresh and clean. The spin dry removes most of the water from your damp clothes. During my first usage of the washer, I used spin dry to dry my Adidas Tiros XL 3 pants and 3 Jerseys without needing to use a real dryer. You can basically dry small and light loads of clothes like underwear and socks with the washer. 4. It is very energy efficient. I washed 25 lbs of clothes (I have a baggage scale that I used to weight my laundry and split them in 2 loads of 8 lbs and one load of 9 lbs). I washed them all heavy load setup with extra rinse for 3 hours. I also dried them for 3 hours with a 3.5 cu ft dryer and my GA Power showed only $2.41 increased in my previous day consumption. That's the energy cost of both washer+dryer for 3 hours of operation. I usually spend $12 for wash+dry in public laundromat. I don't know how much water the washer used but there's no way it'll cost me more than a $1 because I use more water in house cleaning than this washer and it never cost me anything here in GA. Cons: 1. Washer always come with some damage. I received a 1st obvious damaged washer and returned it and got a replacement which showed no damage until the washer started draining the water and I saw that the drain hose was leaking. The drain hose hangs on the side of the package without any protection. If the delivery driver or you laid down the package where the drain hose is located; you'll crush it without knowing and it'll leak badly. So, put water in it to see if it's not leaking before first use. 2. Washing noise varies between 67dB~75dB but spinning is loud at 87dB. 3. The washer makes an annoying noticeable beeping sound that cannot be turned off. It's good for safety but bad if you want to hide it from neighbors. 4. You'll always spill water when you use it without extra spin dry. Whether it's the drain hose or the garden hose, they tend to trap water after washing clothes. When you just make the washer spin dry to remove extra water from clothes, the drain hose will have less water but the garden hose will still have water. So, get some bath towels and a bucket under the connection to cold/hot water to collect water. 5. The washer is big; larger and taller than I expected(it's surprisingly lighter than my 3.5 cu ft dryer though). It barely fits my apartment rooms doors(I still have to move the drain hose to move the washer in and out). 6. Using more than 6lbs of clothes makes the load bang at the rear of the washer and make noises. So, limit the load to 6lbs if you can 7. The quantity of water coming out when I used a heavy load setup was quite a lot. If you use the kitchen sink to drain your washer, you might overflow it. Make sure you first use small or medium load and wait to watch the drained water level in the sink and get a bucket ready to remove the excess water if your sink isn't draining fast enough. Conclusion: Overall, I recommend this washer if you wash more than 20 lbs of laundry successively. Just start with small loads to observe leaks and get used to it before increasing the load. ... show more
