I upgraded my Nintendo switch from the Switch Lite to the Switch OLED, and I wanted to make sure I got a quality case to protect this new investment. I also had a specific color and style in mind of what I wanted my Switch to look like. I was going for the warm, cozy look. I had a terracotta color in mind and for a while, could not find a hard case that was in that color. I ordered a "skin" during my search and as much as I love skins and how they can transform your switch, they are also hard to put on (for me lol) and I would still want additional drop protection...but didn't necessarily want a shiny clear case. I came across this case in light brown and I loved the color...but I was afraid the color wouldn't be the same in-person. Here is a photo of the "light brown" case...it has a brown-ish terracotta hue and I LOVE it! The case is still sleek and it does not make your switch too bulky, yet still feels like it will offer some protection. It is also smooth like NARS makeup packaging (iykyk). It also docks easily, but you will need to remove the console case if you wanted to use the kick-stand on the back. Highly recommend!

I'm very meticulous about taking care of electronics, and this cover set is pretty good. Lightweight, thin enough to fit in the dock, and slips on and off easily. The joystick nubs also fit well and allow a good grip. My only complaint is that detaching the joycons is a bit more difficult, with the covers on. It's harder to press the buttons hard enough to unlock them to slide out. The main cover also has to come off to use the Switch in tabletop mode, but creating a perfect cover for that is impossible. All in all, it's solid.

I liked the value of this item. You get a nicely designed case for the switch that covers all exposed exterior casements. There is one screen protector and multiple rubber covers for the toggles. The switch will fit into the charging dock with the covers mounted. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy again should the need arise.

I have purchased this for my zelda edition Switch OLED and I gotta say, it was really good! It’s cool because it can protect the switch from scratching easily. Only thing I had to get used to was, I couldn’t use the switch stand itself. It fit easily on the switch dock, and joycons still worked very well. The joycon cases did feel a little clicky, but I think that’s due to the way I put it in at first. I ordered multiple screen protectors so I forget if I used the one from this or another brand, but I still have the screen protector on and it’s still great. No scratches that I see. I would definitely order another one when these are super worn down! Thank you for making these.

Glancing quickly at this case, it looks like your normal switch shell case. When I took it out to test it on my switch, I first noticed one of the pieces was scratched (seems like a production mark, not used). Not too big a deal, moving on; the d-pad coverlet on one side had bumps from the molds that shouldn’t have been on the final product. Underneath where your power cord goes, the cut outs look like cheap molded plastic with a heavy rim where all the other cut outs are sloped. I also was not a fan of how set back the release buttons for the joy-cons are. The joy cons felt bulkier in general. I couldn’t put them in my dual joy con holder because the bottom of the back has a bump (to help hold better with handheld, I assume). Trying to get the joy cons IN TO the shells was incredibly easy. Attempting to remove them was much more difficult, to the point where these ended up scratching one of my joy cons. Personally I did not find this worth the price nor the hassle.

I read in other reviews that the material is thin. This is true, but I think it is necessary so it does not interfere with the functions. The access to the turn-on and volume buttons is not the best, but so far I don't have any problems with the controls. It fits well the console and the dock. There is no problem with charging in the dock, just make sure the case is well placed. Overall, I would not recommend it for heavy-duty, but the way I plan to use it, I think it will be fine. Feels fine, looks great, and so far I don't have any problems using the console.
