My go to hiking boot used to be the Columbia Trailstorm but since they stopped making those I had to find a new pair. These are pretty similar to the Trailstorm, they’re still lightweight and feel like a perfect mashup of hiking boot and tennis shoe. They’re slightly shorter than the Trailstorm but the toe length on my normal size 7 fit just fine with mid weight wool socks. They’re definitely waterproof and mud wipes off easily. So far they’re holding up well and don’t look scratched up or old despite wearing them most of the late summer-early winter and putting LOTS of hiking miles on them. The first couple times of wearing them they did cause some soreness right above my ankles on the shin bone on the outer side of the leg, from where the top lace sits and caused the tongue to press on that spot. It wasn’t terrible but I definitely felt and had to loosen my laces, after about 2-3 wears it feels perfect and causes no soreness. So I do think these require a little breaking in, when I first tried them on I really wasn’t sure if I liked them but I had been so spoiled by the comfort of the Trailstorm that I decided to just give them a try. I’m glad I did because they’re my new favorite! The color is also super pretty!

Lightweight and perfect for hiking. They fit true to size. I purchased them last minute before a trip to Iceland. I didn't wear them at all before the trip. They felt as comfortable as sneakers. The soles have a nice grip to them so they kept me from slipping on wet rocks. I purchased a size 10. I was very happy with the quality.

These green hiking shoes ate. Trails? Conquered. Ankle support? Supportive like my therapist. They’re comfy right out of the box, with just enough grip to make me feel like I could scale a mountain or escape a bear (haven’t tested that, don’t plan to). They’re cute enough to wear to brunch after and rugged enough to survive me slipping on wet leaves like it’s my job. Bonus: the green color makes me feel one with the forest—like a crunchy little elf with good arch support. Would recommend for: hiking, trail walking, pretending you’re on a journey to destroy the One Ring.

I see nothing wrong with this hicking boot, it's everything I needed for a trip I'm going on in Iceland in the winter. So ,The size is true to size. I been hicking only on a treadmill, with the wool shocks I will be wearing to break boots in. The trip is Iceland in late October so I need waterproof, heavy grip soles they are that. It's hard to do a honest review when I haven't ever hicked in this cold of weather, I'm a southern girl of my hicking is warm jungles, South America, Central America, The Panama the Islands of the Caribbean and,Hawaii . I think the boots are ugly but I don't think I'm in this for a fashion show. It will be interesting and if Amazon lets me. I'll be glad to give a better review when I return in November. So far I see nothing wrong with the boot.It's comfortable for what it is just not used to the weight and stuff. I think it'll do the job and the friends of mine that have hicked ice they say they are perfect and a reasonable price,they pay alot more for there's but they use them yearly.It a Adventure!

Oh my goodness, what is there not to like?! I recently went on my first real hiking trip to Colorado, so I needed nice hiking boots. I bought a few different brands and styles of boots to try, some a size up as suggested, and was ultimately disappointed for various reasons. Then, I tried these bad boys on and fell in love. They are THE comfiest shoe/boot I have ever worn. My average steps a day is 8,000 in the real world, hiking all day in these boots I got up to 28,000 steps. The next day my feet didn’t even hurt. Plus, the waterproof side to these is amazing; I completely trust these not to leak. Word of advice though - I am a size 8.5 in women’s typically, but after reading reviews of other boots I chose to go half a size up. The 9 fits comfortably with thick wool socks, but I think if I ever wore thinner socks these might be too roomy. So, I suggest sticking to your usual size with these. Another thing I want to mention is the style and color; LOVE!!! I have to say, these are a confidence booster for sure. The quality, weight, style, value, comfort, and general dependability of these boots put my faith back in online shoe shopping.

The media could not be loaded. For reference - I am 5’8, weigh 300lbs, and wear a size 10.5 wide in woman’s shoes. This is important to know because I was torn between purchasing MY regular size or the 11 WIDE, BUT I went with what the reviews and Amazon recommended and ordered the 11 WIDE. I’ve purchased other shoes in size 11 WIDE and they were huge but let me just say, these boots run small. I am so glad I sized up. I bought them to go on a slight hike in Oregon and they were SO comfortable. They kept my feet warm and did great with wet areas on the trail. I also love the color I ordered because they go well with most outfits. They WERE slightly tight on the top of my foot by the shoelaces but all I did was adjust them and they were great! I wore them for the remainder of the day and had no issues. DEFINITELY SIZE UP.
