I love it so far. Light enough for warmer days but it's lined with fleece (?) so that makes it perfect for chilly days. I'm from Seattle and it does good on days with drizzle. I haven't been out in it during a good down pour though. I'm just shy of 5'7" and about 204lbs. I got an XL and it fits me good. I’ve bought 3 of these coats in the last 2 years. 3xl, xl plus, and medium. I’ve always found the sizing to be true and it fantastic at water repelling. This last coat my medium when I went to cinch the bottom at my waist the elastic came undone and broke so I’m returning it and bought a replacement already. Bought this for a recent trip to North Africa where temperatures would vary widely. It kept me warm when I needed it and was not too heavy when temps were more mild. I appreciated that the arms do not have the fleece lining because it kept the jacket from eating my sweater sleeves! The hood was great for high altitude wind and rain. This jacket is perfect. It is true to size and well constructed. I wear a Medium in shirts and coats, so that's what I ordered. It fits nicely with a shirt of thickness fit for Fall weather, and I believe it will fit fine with a sweater. Wearing a hoodie underneath will probably not be possible though, but that's fine. I am 5'7", 150lbs. The "sherpa" lining is not the high pile sherpa you would find on a blanket, but it's the perfect thickness for this jacket.
