I wore it for my half dome hike and it wa super sturdy . It protected my toes from rocks and gravel. I have one suggestion though . After a long day of hiking it hurts the toes . It’s not just this shoe but any shoe . A memory foam inside kinda design to protect toes after a long day of hike especially downhill would be a great product design . ... show more

I did a bit of research prior to buying these hiking boots. I bought them for my teenage daughter before a trip to Alaska. They look very similar to a more expensive brand. These boots are comfortable, high-quality, and really cute. She didn’t have to break them in or anything. She was comfortable in them the whole time. Definitely recommend these. This is my second pair of these boots. I bought them in a different color 9 years ago. My foot got wider through the years. They are excellent. I have hiked and summited 2 14ers in Colorado in them! I love these boots, I hiked 5 miles breaking them in for the first time, the cushion on these boots are amazing, your feet will be thanking you at the end of your hike. I also went hiking when there was puddles and mud and my feet were dry and it was easy to clean the mud off. If you stay standing in water for too long they’ll eventually get a little wet inside I tried that myself. Also for slippery rocks they have good grip not the best but it’s good. I got the size 7.5 and they fit perfect, I have wide feet and they fit fine. In all it’s a really good hiking boot. ... show more

I went hiking in these and this is the result after walking through dirt, streams, mud, and sand for 5 hours. They held up really good and are completely comfortable. I got my normal size (11) and it fits perfectly! Last photo is a comparison of how my boots held up compared to my boyfriend's!

These boots are such a great value and truly comfortable. I have just under 60 hiking miles on these and a couple days of trail work. The ankle support is support cushiony which feels great on metal leg hardware. I've been able to hike in these even with a super inflamed plantar ligament..
