I have one in gray I wear all the time in the cooler weather. When I saw this on sale, I bought it immediately. The color was as pictured and I received compliments. The pile is soft and not so long you feel like a stuffed toy. I bought my usual size in tops (16-18 or XL) and it fits comfortably over a blouse or T neck. I have washed it once (by itself, it did bleed, but did not shrink) and worn it several times before it got too warm. The pockets are nice and deep. It's ideal when driving some distance in fall or winter. I remove my coat and the vest keeps my core warm and leaves my arms unrestricted. This is a good looking vest in a great color It is thicker than I expected and I do not like the collar as it is too high This is a vest for blizzards I planned to wear it inside in cooler weather but it is what I ordered The zip pockets are a plus It seems to run a little small I am 5/5 and weigh 130 and the large is snug over a light weight tee shirt But. This is an item I will buy again and again! Very well made! This is really warm for us chilly gals and fits so well and looks really slimming. Runs a bit big and I usually wear a large but bought a medium which fits perfectly for me. I am 5'4" 130lbs. Really warm over a sweater for those winter days or even over a tank top during the spring. I find I wear this all year round except for super hot summer days. Thank you for a great product! Where are the restocks! Columbia is missing out on a lot of sales because they have not restocked the colors! I would have bought 4 more since I wrote this review had they had greens, reds and purples in stock! Sad for Columbia! ... show more

My wife says, "This vest is offered in such a great variety of colors to brighten up fall and winter days. This is a color I didn't have. Now I've ordered two more and am eyeing another. So comfy, and easy to put on when it's chilly, and easy-off when it warms up. Ideal layering with jackets, too. (Columbia has some of the same colors in jackets.)     • This is a great vest!
I don't normally write reviews but I really struggled to determine whether to get a small or medium so am hoping this helps someone else. I read LOTS of reviews and it only left me more confused. I normally wear a small in most jackets and I also have a Columbia small jacket. But people kept saying to size up. I am 36C, 125 lbs. and I got the small and it fits perfect with room to spare. I don't live in an area where I would wear this over a heavy sweater so I wanted something more form fitting but not snug to wear over a Lululemon type top and yoga pants. If I had gotten the medium it would have been HUGE on me. ... show more

    • Great but watch for stains & flaws
This is a great vest for the money & the colors are bright and vibrant. However, watch for flaws. First I ordered 2 (green, pink) and both had stains, so I returned them and reordered 1 in a darker color (purple). The material is more plush than usual for Columbia, something more like fabric you'd find in loungewear rather than outwear. I like them but I just don't believe they are first quality. So watch for stains and flaws. Sizing is not generous in my opinion. A Medium worked for me (I'm a 10) but it's a slim fit in my opinion.
