This coat is great and it is everything they say it is. I love all the features. The zippered pockets that double as vents are great to have. The pockets and attachment points are nice. The coat works well and it is easy to move around in. Just understand that the sizing is larger than you would expect. I got a 2x because I wanted a little extra room. The coat was way too big for me. I could have gone with an L to XL. Fortunately, I know some bigger guys so I gave it to one of them that fishes and he loves it too.

This is a really nice jacket, but is made for 3 sizes larger than I normally wear. I wear an XL and this would fit someone much taller and larger through the chest, and especially the waist. I would try a smaller size, but the waist on this is so incredibly large, I think even a smaller size would be too big through the waist, and I like a little tighter fit.

I like Columbia, but they tend to be either hit or miss, with no in-between. I'm happy to say that this jacket is a huge hit for me. I also ordered a much more expensive HH jacket that was near identical to this one, but ended up keeping the Columbia as the fit was way more flattering and the quality seemed identical. I wore this for the first time on a trip to Ireland where we experienced quite a bit of wet-stuff, and it performed beautifully.

This jacket is typical of Columbia's quality. Great! I've never had an issue with a Columbia jacket in the PNW and this jacket is no different. It's lightweight, waterproof, and windproof with a clean, simple look. This is a PFG (performance fishing gear) jacket, which means it has a small rectangular velcro patch on the chest for stashing fishing hooks. If you're not into fishing, you probably won't even notice it's there. My only complaint is the sizing. I bought an XL, but it fits like a XXL. I've never had this happen before with Columbia.

I recently picked up this Columbia jacket, and I'm really happy with it! It’s super comfortable and well-designed, making it great for layering. The performance of this jacket is awesome. My wife had the same model for years and was in horticulture so was outside daily. She wore this jacket through the thick and thin and it is still going strong. The seams are well sealed and the jacket doesn’t leak unless you’re outside in a downpouring rain the entire day. After a few hours any jacket will start to leak. The issue I had is seen in the photos which I tend to run into with Columbia. This is a medium and I’m 6’1”. I just find it too long. I wish I could have tried on the small. Just get two sizes and send one back if you need to. Look how big the hood is! It won’t stay up in the rain so I have a slowly collapsing window in my face. So I had to drop two stars due to sizing issues. Zipper is great with Velcro tabs sealing the jacked seam over the zipper seam which is awesome. Rain doesn’t get through then zipper.

This coat will keep you dry! It's very well made and has all the features you want in rain gear. It's designed for fishing but will work in any application where you need protection from the rain. The fabric is 100% water proof. The zipper is high quality and the flap over the zipper can be secured by Velcro as can the sleeve cuffs. The hood is adjustable to the size of your head and can be secured at the neck by Velcro also. In short, anything under this coat is going to stay dry. It's a bit on the baggy side in a large (my normal size for something like this) but that allows you to wear it over heaver clothing in the winter.

This is a nice, attractive waterproof jacket. The sleeves are long, but there are velcro straps to tighten them at your desired length. There are four zippered pockets, two at hand level and two on the chest. There is a hood to keep your head dry. It is very light-weight. You will find this useful in damp or rainy weather.
