He has trouble finding shoes that are truley wide enough for him, and struggles with some foot pain, but these fit him great! I bought them for him for work as he needs something waterproof but breathable and comfortable. He loves them so much that at first he did not want to even wear them to work, he just wanted them for at home. We will see how long they will hold up but so far so good! While I have only had them a few weeks and only worn them twice, I don't feel that this is the time to review them. In the short time that I have had them, they have been everything that you expect a Columbia Product to be. They were the exact size and fit great. I will be using them extensively this spring and summer. I will be traveling and hiking in the hills, planes, mountains, and climbing numerous Castle stairs. I gotta say, I really like these hikers. They're super comfortable, and that's coming from someone who's been wearing Merrells for years now. They're definitely waterproof after standing in my crick for a while, working on something, and the tread is super grippy, even on dried leaves and loose dirt. I only have two issues with them. One: they don't really breathe well. By the end of the day, my socks are a bit damp and my feet stink, which is not a problem I normally have. Two: I prefer my hikers to have a stiffer sole (for hiking on rocky trails), but these have a more flexible sole, very much like an athletic shoe. Not that that's a bad thing, just not my preference. I tried many other brands, much more expensive, and non compare to how comfortable the shoes are. They are also water proof. Moreover, the sole on the heel side does have the aggressive cut which makes walking more enjoyable (contravesy with some new designs). First of all I must mention those are my first columbia shoes. Size wise - I wear mostly new balance 11.5 2E (wide) M990v4 shoes among other shoes/boots, So I choose 11.5 Wide, And those seems tighter than usual (even compared to non-wide shoes). They also feel like size 12 in length, So not that comfortable upon 1st impression. After wearing them for several hours, My feet got a bit adapted to them and they feel ok. I think I can wear them for few hours without any problems. They are relatively light weighted, But they seems built good enough to last few years as main walking gear for winter. Another thing : You can't take out the built in inner sole, So take it into consideration while choosing the shoe size. ... show more

This product I use fits perfect on me normally size 11 on women, Men 10 and I use when it's raining or snowing keep my feet dry and comfortable and the sole on bottom of boots are also great for bad weather. I love my boots

I really like these boots. Very durable, comfortable to wear all day. The only bad part about these, they do cause static. Granted, it’s been dry so that’s not helping but anytime I’m wearing these, I’m shocking myself or someone else. Other than that, great boots.
