I live overseas in a tropical climate which sees plenty of rain throughout the year. I will be returning in a couple months so thought I would treat myself to a quality rain jacket shell. The jacket is roomy so you can layer it with other warm clothing; fleece, etc.. Plenty of pockets and I like the fact that it's tightly stitched nylon, that keeps water out but realtivley breathable. Style is a regular fit which hangs nice. Great quality for the price and it packs into a pocket which is a plus for travel. My only complaint is the "Columbia" embroidered logo doesn't have a fabric sealant behind it which will allow water to seep in. Not a big deal. I bought a fabric sealer for under 5 bucks which does the job, but potential buyers should be aware of this.
