  • Size is true!
Color: Mud, Squash Size: 13 Wide
Update 1/19/25: I have now worn this newest pair of Columbia Men's Crestwood shoe for almost 14 months. I still like the shoes as I do wear them most everyday. Each shoe has now developed a small hole in the mesh over the toe area. The left shoe has a hole about the size of a pea and the right shoe has a hole about the size of a pencil eraser, both in the mesh on the outside toe area. The holes aren't expanding in size very fast. The shoes still are waterproof and the soles are worn down about half way. The sole on the left foot is just barely beginning to separate from the shoe itself near and under the big toe (a little shoe glue may fix this!). Other than the unsightly two holes in the mesh and the small separation of sole, the shoes seem to be holding up very well for daily use. Update 12/6/23: I purchased the Columbia Men's Crestwood Hiking shoe, in "Mud/Squash", over two and a half years ago and they have been very good shoes. I did have one little tear in the mesh, about the size of a pea, directly where it joins the black toe guard. It never grew in size and I wore these shoes several times a week over the years doing various activities in them. They always looked good but were showing a little wear on the soles......so, I bought another pair in grey and I am very pleased with them. I will continue to use the old pair to work around the house and will wear the new ones for daily wear away from home. So, do I like them? I DID buy another pair after wearing my first pair for over 2.5 years! Yes.....I am very pleased with these shoes and the service they have given me! I purchased the Columbia Men's Crestwood Waterproof Hiking Shoe in a size 13 wide in the "Mud/Squash" color! I was a little hesitant to purchase these on-line, since most shoes (sneakers/hiking) I purchase seem to run somewhat small! Before purchasing, I had my foot measured at a shoe store and it was a 12.5 men's US length. So, after reading reviews stating the size was accurate, I ordered the 13 Wides. I have had them for about 3 weeks and they are just great! The size (13) fits very comfortably and correctly on my foot and they are "cushy" and easy to walk in. I like the way the shoes look and feel on my feet. They are waterproof and have a label on each shoe's outer side, stating "Waterproof". The toe "kick" is made of rubber and wraps around the toe of each shoe. The soles feel like they are rubber too. I primarily purchased them for walking, but will use them for some hiking too! So far, I am very pleased with the look and feel of these shoes! The one criticism I have of the shoes it the arch is not quite high enough for me. I have flat feet and would have enjoyed having a little more arch support in each shoe, but I can always add a little more arch support if it becomes a problem. I usually purchase the 13M's, but I went with the 13W and am glad I did! So far, I am pleased with the look, feel (arch support could have been more pronounced), and sturdiness of the shoe! The only thing I can't tell you yet, is about the durability of the shoe. But time will tell.....and so will I if they don't meet my expectations! ... show more

  • Super-comfortable hiking shoes
I bought this pair of Columbia Men's Crestwood Waterproof Hiking Shoe to replace an old pair of Columbia hiking shoes that I absolutely loved but wore out. The old shoes were not waterproof (nor were they advertised as such) - they were simply hiking shoes that fit well and lasted a long time. I opted for the waterproof shoes this time, what with all the rain we've been having in the northeast lately, and I'm glad I did. I've worn them twice now in rainy/wet conditions (including getting caught in one heck of a downpour), and my feet stayed dry. These shoes are a little heavier than my previous pair (from the waterproofing, I assume) but they are NOT uncomfortably heavy in the least. They feel even more rugged than my previous pair, and those lasted for several years. They have just the right amount of cushioning in the soles, and have excellent arch support for people like me whose feet pronate while walking. Great shoes at a good price - that's why I bought them again. ... show more

  • It's a Columbia hiking shoe!
It's a Columbia hiking shoe! What more is there to say.... I purchased the Columbia Men's Crestwood Hiking shoe, in "Mud/Squash" in size 8.5. I love the neutral color tones. 1. The Shoes are true to size, I'm very pleased about that, I won't go up half a size unless I read otherwise. I do not like wearing loose hiking shoes. 2. The appearance of the shoe really connected with me, the toe box looks well constructed, aggressive and stylish. 3. I love the aggressive outsole, the shoe grips well when on dry ruff terrain, I haven't gone out in the rain yet 4. The eyelets and laces appear to be good quality and are holding up well. 5. The heal collar doesn't rub which is great because its been an issue for me on some other brands. 6. The heal pad seems pretty comfortable to me, I feel that it does provide the right amount of support which can be a thing depending on your foot. In my case it works for me. Cons: ? None. Not at this time. Overall I find these hiking shoes to be well constructed, stylish and simply comfortable on my feet. That's the bottom line, I only provided 4 stars because I'm still breaking them in. If anything changes I will update my review accordingly. I hope my review helps. ... show more

  • Satisfied customers!
My husband has been looking for a comfortable work shoes for a long time and waterproof. This is the only shoes he was satisfied and we only found it here at Amazon! We are recommending that you buy this shoes if you work in a place that you get wet or walking 8 to 9 hours at work.

  • High Quality, True Water Proof, Light Weight Trail Shoes that Breathes..
I love the stylish design, true water proof, light weight, lots of traction, and the material is breathable so my feet don't sweat like some other brand water proof shoes. I don't hike mountain trails because I live in Florida, but if I do live elsewhere, these would be a wonderful pair of shoes for hiking. My feet stay dry when I go through swampy areas in Florida with these shoes. Overall, I love these shoes! ... show more

  • Please keep making these
Color: Mud, Squash Size: 11
I have been buying a pair of these every year for my dad for idk how long. They are the only tennis shoes he likes. He wears the crap out of them so someone who doesn’t wear them all day every day may get more wear out of them. They are difficult to find in stores now. I’m perfectly fine with ordering them online. I just hope you keep them in stock. Thank you. (He did mention this past year in 2024 that these ones took about a week to break in for some reason) ... show more

  • Second pair and love these!
This is my second pair. I can now swap colors too! These are great for their cost. They may not be the top of the line in a hiking store but they are actually very well made, they are waterproofed and comfortable! I have worn them hiking in Iceland and walking along trails in the forest preserve so they are quite versatile and totally worth the money! ... show more
