I don’t usually review items that I have purchased but these shoes are absolutely the best shoes I have ever bought. They are super comfortable and a perfect combination of support for hiking to just an enjoyable day out and about. I like them so much I even ditched my golf shoes and started wearing these when I walk the golf course. I have been in wet areas and cold areas and my feet have stayed dried which I was initially skeptical about. I would rate them an 11 on a scale of 1-10!

I recently moved to NYC where we've had lots of rain, encountered lots of suspicious puddles of liquids, and have less-than-ideal sidewalks. I wanted a shoe that looked like a shoe but that was also waterproof, had good grip, and also had some style. I'm not a huge fan of the extra height these give, but I love how well they've handled the weather, their everyday comfort, and the traction the provide on all surfaces. Sure it's designed for hiking, but my commute can be a hike and these keep me dry, safe, without looking or feeling like a boot.

Comfortable and durable. Water resistant on the sides but not the top. When it rains or water drops on the breathable portion on the top, your feet will get wet. Overall good hiking shoes.

The media could not be loaded. I bought them based on the look, this is my first pair of Columbias I usually get Timberland Pros but I’m trying something different this time. They look good I’ll be rocking them working at my warehouse job. The toes don’t have composite so there’s not a lot of protection on these but I understand they’re hikers. The sole insert is pretty thin but that’s not a prob I’m used to replacing those during a shoes life anyway. I’ll let you know how long I wore them until the stock inserts started to hurt later. The laces were a bit long so I double laced about halfway up, no problem. They feel good on my foot I walked around the house in them as a test drive. The build/material quality seems good out of the box & waterproofness is yet to be seen, I’ll return here in about 3 months to report back lol.
