    • the fabric is cutting my skin
I've been buying Columbia shorts for at least 10 years. I like the lightweight fabric when I walk or ride my bike. But on this pair, something sharp is rubbing along the belt line and I noticed today that the skin is broken. It's not obvious what's different in that one spot, but all the fabric along the seams is much rougher than it is in my older shorts. The other thing is that this model used to come with a belt, but now you have to buy your own. Are they cutting quality to save cost? I'm past the return date - I may need to throw these away. ... show more
