I love this eyeliner. It stays on well, minimal smudging, BUT it is very easy for the tip to break off. You have to be careful when using it and be sure that the tip is not extended too far out. So a four star item for me.

This review is actually for the Onyx Revlon ColorStay eyeliner. I am 67 now and all the articles about women over 60. say in big letters, do not wear black eyeliner. I love black eyeliner and if you really want your eyes to show up - use a black eyeliner, but make sure it's waterproof to avoid raccoon eyes. I used a matte beige color on the lid with a bronze color in the crease and lined my lower inner lid and on the top a little thicker liner above the lashes. Yes, I know I'm not going anywhere but I still have to put makeup on most days just for me. I did use an eyeshadow primer. I must say that my makeup looked great all day and my eyes really popped. I also wore a red matte lipstick. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Now I'll caution you not to twist up more that a sliver of the eyeliner at a time or it will break off. I also find that the brush on the other end does a great job of bringing the eyeliner down to the inside corner of the eye without it being too too much. ... show more

I barely had the kohl pushed out of the pen and it broke off, in 3 occasions. This transfers very easily and does not stay put like the "ink pen" style Colorstay eyeliner. Went well beyond my expectations, you must not use too much pressure at all and only use a little bit a time to avoid breakage. Next I didn't expect the Evergreen to be so nice but this one really complimented my eyes and I don't usually use greens. I mistook Evergreen for black, but was pleasantly surprised by the texture, color, and quality. I really recommend, it also lasts a long time I swatched it on my leg and it faded but never went away till I wash it off on day 2 in the evening. ... show more
