Easy slide ! Tip if you are seeing screen above your sliding window you have it upside down , lol , drains on the exterior in down ward postion! I did not realize the direction of opening was preselected - it is OPENS LEFT TO RIGHT. The space up top makes it easy to remove the sliding pane for washing etc. Double paned. Feels a little loose when locked but i think some foam on the closing side end frame will help with this. Has the thin brush and plastic center as seals and thats pretty much it for sealing. This is a new constuction window with fins , exterior nail / screw fin- be sure they are level before attaching! NO INSTRUCTIONS - so your on your own figuring out best sealing and waterproofing methods - lots of info on this - much conflicting and confusing -thus manufacturer instructions are always nice- would be 5star product with some paperwork-and quality instructions-imo. Great price on these windows - overall excited about them. They look nice . Time will tell how the sealed glass works out and how well they seal in place. I will update when I get them in!

I replaced really old basement windows with these. Sometimes the wood frames get replaced too or sanded, filled, primed etc. I used 1/4” tapcons that were 3 3/4 long, hammer drilled a pilot hole, used a screw gun to jam them through the holes in the window frame and into the cement wall-which I first injected with liquid nails. These aren’t going anywhere.

Omg. What a cheap little window that did the job. Is it an Anderson or Pella. No, that would cost $700 plus. This is what it is for the price. It does the job. This is a good 5 star window.
