The media could not be loaded. This review is for the MetBelle Colorful Lighting Toddler Balance Bike in White. Lets get real, my three and a half year old son did not need a status symbol balance bike that cost hundreds of dollars. What he needed, was an affordable, functional, good looking, and COOL balance bike. This MetBelle bike checked all those boxes. He really liked the LED lights in the wheels, and I felt that the seat was well designed to be long and saddle shaped, perfect for a toddler who is walking their legs and learning to balance. The white and brown color scheme is attractive, and the handle bars are a firm rubber material. Assembly was pretty easy, but the instructions were horrible. It's a good thing there were limited parts so not that many ways to mess up. My understanding was that the bolts should be fed down so that the split lock washer and friction nut go underneath the mounting plate below the seat. The ring bearing should go at the bottom of the handlebar/front wheel setup, so that the weight is pushing down onto the bearings and the bearings prevent grinding and friction. Mine came with a tool to tighten the bolts and an extra bolt too. The tires seem like a firm rubberized foam of sorts, almost like some of the less expensive tennis shoes, so there isn't that much traction with the ground. I don't think there needs to be, since this is a balance bike and a majority of kids aren't going to be using this to go downhill biking and turning extreme corners. If that's your kid, you might want to find them something different. The only part of this that I thought wasn't fantastic, was the scratching of the paint on the handlebar and seat bar. Because of how the adjustable heights work with the locking nut, the painted parts are very easily scratched. The listing says the frame is carbon steel, and so if those black parts are considered part of the frame, then the places that are scratched could rust. Best to not only keep the bike dry (or dry it off after it gets wet) but to be careful when adjusting the heights. Speaking of heights, my three and a half year old is on the short side, and we had the seat fully lowered and the handlebars fully raised. That seemed to be a pretty comfortable position for him, so I would've liked to have seen the handlebars go a little higher, but right now it fits great. When looking at whether to recommend a product, a lot of factors go into it. The quality, functionality, looks, and finally the value. Is this bike worth just under $70? Absolutely. I can definitely recommend this. My son has had a blast using it, and has been asking to use it again and again. It's a great way to learn how to balance on a bike and a healthy way to get outdoors and move around.

I couldn’t be happier with this balance bike! My three-year-old is zipping around on it like a pro and even tackling small hills now. I’m so impressed with how quickly she picked it up—she’s gained so much confidence and balance in such a short time. I got similar bikes for my older kids and they were never interested. I think the key is that this time my daughter was forced outside and watched her older siblings. She wasn't interested at first because she kept falling. She just kept trying and once it clicked she just took off! I have no doubt that she’ll be ready to transition to a pedal bike without ever needing training wheels. The adjustable seat and handlebars are great because the bike will grow with her, and the colorful lighting wheels are such a fun feature—she’s obsessed with them! I also love how lightweight the frame is. It’s easy for her to handle on her own, and the carry handle makes it simple for me to transport when we’re out and about. Assembly took literally a minute, so she was riding in no time. This bike is sturdy, well-designed, and a total win for both parents and kids! Highly recommend.

I got this balance bike for my 3-year-old nephew, and it’s been a total win! He’s obsessed with it and spends hours zipping around, thanks to those cool light-up wheels. It’s a small detail, but it makes every ride exciting for him—no batteries, just lights up as he goes. The bike feels super sturdy, which is reassuring. The light-up wheels are a huge draw—my toddler is fascinated by them, especially when riding around in the evening. It adds a fun, almost magical touch that keeps them excited to use it every day. The bike itself is really well-built and sturdy. I love that it has an adjustable seat, so it can last longer.Perfect for helping them develop coordination and balance. If you are contemplating a balance bike for your child-- just get one! They are seriously such a quick way for your child to love to learn riding a bike- even if it's just a balance bike! We go on walks daily and my 18 month old can ride along with us! They are light weight so very easy to transport as well.. this one is extra great because the wheels light up-- makes it that much more fun and exciting for your toddler! Also, even though I still feel like it's lightweight, it holds up well and can get really good use out of it! Would definitely buy again!

Note - there were no instructions with this, but my husband figured it out. We have already posted answers to other buyers who asked questions about putting it together. There should be instructions!
