You can not add water from the top. You have to bolt it underneath your sink. This will not work for me : ( i am giving mine away to another. Which annoys me because I really wanted it (but apparently looks like I did not need it that bad). Low price but so expensive to have to give it away . Looks like a nice dish washer : (

We used this during a recent outage and it surprised me how well it did. Just loaded it up, added water, hit start... and everything came out looking clean. I didn’t have to pre-wash or stand there scrubbing first, which was nice with a full sink. There’s enough space for dishes for our family - plates, cups, utensils - as long as you load it smart. Hookup and controls are pretty simple; once you do it the first time, it’s easy after that. For a small portable unit, it pulled its weight and made cleanup a lot easier.

No idea where to put the dish soap or pod. Very poor instructions on hooking up to sink. I gave it to the rescue mission. 1st time being disappointed from amazon.

I got this primarily because I lack the space to insert a full sized dishwasher and I wanted one that was compact in size yet functional. This one definitely was a lot smaller than the full sized ones but was also bigger than the counter top ones that I had originally imagined. Because it looked and felt bigger than I expected, I was happy that it was able to hold a lot more of my dishes/plates. I only live in a household of 2 members so there really isn't much that is used but we're both quite lazy so having an option like this is truly beneficial and convenient to us. We were a bit skeptical about how clean it would be so we always do quick rinses before/after it is washed in the dishwasher and we're overall quite happy with the results. There weren't any stains left on our plates and we always made sure to get rid of any big pieces of food left on the plate prior to washing.

no detergent dispenser no UL certification no ETL (Intertek) certification This mini dishwasher is just the right fit for my tiny little kitchen with just enough counterspace to set it up. No issues with the setup or operation. It does a good job of cleaning the nooks and crannies of my Ninja blender and blades. I also use the mini dishwasher to give my micro green trays and sprouting jars and lids a deep clean. Leaving the dishwasher setup on the counter is not practical. So when done, I pick it up and move it to the laundry room. I've ordered an auto detailing utility cart to make it easier to move around. I've gotten so much use from this little dishwasher these last 2 months. I really hope it lasts, at least for another year. This is a generic, no name brand dishwasher, with no UL or ETL certifications. I'm not very optimistic about the longevity of the electronics.

I got this for our rental house where my BIL lives. He lives alone and is thus far managing to take care of himself, with some weekly help from us. Activities of daily living get more difficult for lots of people as they get older and/or more infirm, and every little bit of mechanized help can make it possible for those individuals to stay in their own homes for longer. This is one of those handy devices. I honestly didn’t expect much for the price. It was easy to hook up, even though I’m definitely not a plumber. It looks nice on his countertop, and sits conveniently next to his sink, which is where it drains. If and when it’s ever in the way, we can store it on top of his upper cabinets (which are pretty low by modern standards, so there’s a big space between the top of them and the ceiling.). And this little guy gets his dishes cleaned better than I could hand wash them, and WAY better than the BIL would hand wash them. It makes his life both easier and cleaner, and it’s something we’re very happy to have both for our rental house, and for the BIL who lives in it. We used to have an RV. I very very much wish I’d had one of these then. Live and learn!

I was thrilled to discover this portable dishwasher. We have been needing a dishwasher for the RV, and this one is perfect. It doesn't take up much counter space. Thankfully, we had a big enough space by the sink for this. The build feels solid and sturdy. I had no issues with setting this unit up. Hook-up was so easy, all you have to do is hook the waterline directly to the sink, and let the drain hose drain into the sink easily. I appreciate that it isn't a permanent fixture and can be stored away when not in use. This is a crucial feature to have in an RV or tiny home. You need all the space you can get. This functions like a regular installed dishwasher, just with less space for dishes, obviously. The cleaning mechanism pushes water down from the top through a grated utensil holder for maximum water distribution. This gets the dishes good and clean. You can even choose between three modes of cleaning: eco-friendly (62 minutes), strong (96 minutes), and rapid (28 minutes). They even offer an option for washing your fruit that takes only 19 minutes. That seems like a bit of overkill to rinse some fruit, but I guess they will be thoroughly rinsed. This is a fantastic deal and such an incredible value for the money. I highly recommend this portable dishwasher.
