This product is so comfortable that I do not remember I am wearing it, except when someone comments on how professional and tailored my collar looks. It gives the perfect 'lift' to the collar roll line. Although my first comment was "I just spent $15 for a piece of plastic that will probably break within the week", I changed my mind upon further inspection. It is a lightweight, clear molded piece of plastic that is surprisingly flexible when twisted and bent. More thought was put into the design because the product is tapered: 2 mm wide at the top (where it supports the collar) and 1 mm wide at the bottom (where it rests on the neckline). This does not seem like a large amount but 1 mm wide actually feels comfortable resting on my shoulders where as 2 mm would most likely be too bulky. I wear it while the stand and top two placket buttons are unbuttoned, in conjunction with Würkin Stiffs magnetic collar stays. ... show more

Perfectly fulfills it purpose in holding up a non-button down collar. I have used it on a point collar and it gives a very neat and finished look to the shirt. I did not have to trim it at all. It is not visible. Also great for holding up the shirt collar that you wear under a half-zip sweater. Gives the sweater collar shape as well. I chose this one over the "million dollar collar" for the sake of its simplicity - no sewing required and you only need one to use on all your shirts. ... show more

    • Very good collar.
I have a 15.5" neck and I love this thing. It's really just a piece of simi-hard plastic, but it does the job well and makes the shirt look pressed. I've been wearing it often without many problems. The problems I do have are with collars that are not large enough to cover the plastic.

Ordered the item in August and didn't get it til closer to the end of October. Item is way too snug for any neck size bigger than 17in.
