I love this product, and the price is great! There is no after taste. I’ve only been using it for a month, and I’ve seen improvements in my hair, skin, and nails. My hair was like straw. It didn’t matter what conditioner I used! It was straw! It now has softness to it. Also, I really think it’s slowing down the rate at which I have been losing it. This collagen comes in a nice wide rim tub so it’s easy to dip out using the enclosed scooper. It is very fine and mixes well with a hot liquids like tea, coffee, cocoa, etc. I have a bit harder time mixing it with cold drinks but possibly using a whisk or frother would help. There is no strong discernible taste once mixed in drinks. I will purchase this one again as I am noticing an improvement in my skin, hair, and nails.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE (1/11/24) I don’t even drink this everyday and ever since I did start my nails have gotten SO SO SOOO LONG STRONG AND BEAUTIFUL!! I’ve always had nubs as nails , they were non existent and always broke off but wow I can’t even believe these are my REAL nails and no one else believes me either lol! They are super super hard and strong , they do not break, hair has grown for sure and has gotten stronger , skin is still so so but that’s because I do not drink it everyday like I should. With that being said RUN AND BUY THIS !!! It’s really good , I tried it with juice and it dissolved ok I just had to shake it alot , you can’t taste too much flavor is more a after taste. Dissolves better with hot things and specially coffee , the coffee taste over powers the flavor so no after taste after the coffee. Haven’t felt any relief yet from my sore muscles , I train 5 times a week as a power lifter so my muscles are always aching , but this is only my second day with it , will update ! Update: after only like a week or two of taking this everyday and forgetting weekends , my nails have changed DRASTICALLY, they have grown so strong and pretty but my hair I don’t notice anything yet nor my skin, and with muscles I can’t tell if it’s helping or not UPDATE( 12/5) BEST BEST collagen I have ever used , my nails have never been this long NOR strong and thick !! I cut them because I have HEAVY training everyday but my nails have never ever been this length , and they’ve gotten longer too with the collagen !! And super super strong and pretty

You guys have obviously changed the packaging and the formula. It has never use to come in a bag. I have been buying this since April 2023 and it has worked. The last 2 times I bought this i have not noticed any difference. My skin doesn't look youthful anymore. What the heck is going on???

My knees are very painful and unstable. They have improved since I started taking collagen, and those effects are even more noticeable with this double-hydrolyzed digestive-enzyme-enhanced Physicians Choice Collagen Peptides. I had previously purchased collagen powder by Viva Naturals, so when I got this I did a comparison of them. Viva had a sour taste when mixed with cold water, while the Physician’s Choice had a slightly funky aroma that didn’t affect the taste for me (but a friend I had try them preferred the taste of the Viva, so maybe it’s like broccoli or hot sauce, different people will react differently to the taste), and both resisted dissolving completely in cold water, but I did eventually get this dissolved. P.C. mixed better/faster/smoother with milk or OJ than Viva. Contrary to some reviews I’ve read, I found if I stirred vigorously with a fork, let it rest for a minute, and then stir again, I got all the lumps out. The flavors or odors were not noticeable over the flavors of milk or OJ, though it does add a slightly creamy texture. I was very happy about a couple things with Physicians Choice: due to double hydrolization and digestive enzymes not included in Viva, P.C. has a higher amount of comparable amino acids bioavailable per measure, thus you can use a smaller amount (or get a higher dosage from same size scoop); and the package is compact, easier for smaller or clumsier hands to hold (my [small] hands go numb and I have arthritis, so some of the huge jars in which many supplements come are awkward for me to handle). (It’s still about as big as the large size of Laura Scudder’s or Adam’s Peanut Butter; other supplements often come in plastic jars as big as “food service” mayonnaise, which is difficult for me to deal with. I too like a bargain price on a larger volume, and agree with another review that a subscription option [or a two-pack] with some price reduction would be nice, but *Please* don’t get rid of this size, it’s one of my favorite things about it!) I guess between the package size and the pink label they are aiming this at women, but amino acids don’t have genders and I’m not wearing the label, so I don’t really care if it’s pink. I do care that it’s easier to handle, and takes up less room on the kitchen shelves (for those in efficiency studios and tiny homes). Though I didn’t buy it for this, I have noticed my fingernails are stronger on it. I would caution those with hypertension to be careful, high doses of collagen can sometimes push blood pressure up, but I didn’t have a problem along those lines; I don't exceed the suggested dosage limits, and I monitor my BP regularly. If it matters to you, this product is made from pasture-raised, grass fed cattle in Brazil (which might contribute to rainforest decline? Hope not); Viva notes on the label it is halal (the Islamic version of kosher) from India, so it probably comes from an area with Muslims there.
