This is probably the best tent we have ever owned, and we have owned a lot of tents. I give it only 4 stars due to the fact that it doesn't have any windows or good ventilation on 3 sides of it. The only opening is the door. We absolutely loved having the porch on the front that could be opened or zipped up in the rain. We have had other tents with porches but they always became a big mess if it rained. This was a great place to store shoes so they didn't have to come into the tent and the porch allowed for a second barrier against mosquitoes and other bugs. Bought it used like new on Amazon and it was brand new. No problems what do ever. Took it to the boundary waters on basswood lake in Canada and mosquitoes are awful there the closed in front porch was awesome for killing all the mosquitoes before going into the tent great tent made it through a light rain storm unfazed but haven’t had it in a serious down pour yet but for the money in my opinion great tent 👍 ... show more

I recently tried car camping, two weeks sleeping in a Subaru Forester convinced me I would be happier in more spacious accommodations. I had admired the tent set ups of some of my neighbors, all that space, standing headroom, indoor potty! My 2 person tent suddenly lost its charm, it made a nice little camping shed/pantry, but as an alternate living space…I could do better. I liked the looks of this tent, the Coleman reputation, the decadence of having all this just for me! I had a friend help me set it up to do a quality check, took us about 15 minutes, there are a few technique issues to figure out. I feel confident I can set this up myself, going to use a clamp or strap as a stand in for a helper, there is a ‘hold that’ spot where a third hand was a big help. Love the built in poles, the color coded fasteners for the rain fly, the expandable storage bag, and that roomy interior! It was very easy to fold back up and rebag, just pay attention when you unfold it, reverse the process. Now all I need is a camping trip to give it a good and proper try out. Well, I’ve only used the tent once, but was absolutely surprised. I’m not much on tent camping, but I decided on this one and was on the fence when I first assembled it in the yard. I took it out on its first use camping in the mountains. Wow, I was pleasantly happy. No rain, so that will be an update later perhaps. Went together easily and quickly, even in the dark with a small headlamp and only second time assembling. Tent lost a star for the pockets that are inside are at my head and face. And I do wish the screened in area was taller. I have a small camp chair so that worked for me and it made it much easier to put on my boots while sitting. Others may not be so comfortable sitting in the small screened in area. I liked it!!! Overall, I’m happy on my purchase, and would buy again. ... show more
